Elven settlements not included?

Hey all. i just wanted to ask if anyone knows about the elven settlements being including as i am playing a campaign and when i get besieged none of the settlements are elven only caras galadhon.

I remember looking at the previews and a picture read "Generic Elven large city" but there are none in the game. was it not included?

I have exactly the same question, even Mithlond is not a generic elven settlement.

For questions like that I think KK should show us a changelog of 3.0

I think just guessing here that you have to reach the city level to see the new custom settlements.

hmm this is a wierd one, im guessing kk has either forgotten to put them in OR the settlements are not finished yet and btw thranduils halls is a city and i got besieged and no change

I noticed the same when I saw them with Barons Settlement Viewer.

There is only a generic minor and large city

There are orcish villages, towns, large towns, minor cities, large cities, no castles

The orc castles are reskinned teutonic castles (from 2.1) aren't they?

Well I just checked it out and they don't really look reskinned (at least not the wooden casle or motte and baile)

They are not reskinned, neither the wooden castles nor the fortresses. -Also I have not Barad-Dûr in my campaign, only a kind of citadel, but I think Barad is only available in custom battles at the moment, right ?


Anyway that texture issue is quite strange since I well remember that orc fortresses in 2.1 had a black, ruined texture which fitted pretty much with the idea of old human captured and defiled fortifications.

Generic Elven Settlements are there but only when they are City and Large Cities so that means(Campaign Only). Caras Galadhon i think its not include i dont know but maybe in future patch ^^ and the Orc Generic Settlements are there too.

Isnt it possible to give all elven cities no matter the size the new generic elvish settlement?

It is, though i think it could be a lot of work replacing the battlefield maps (using a hex editor )

I also don't see a new settlement when attacking Barad Dur.

That's because there isn't one

Well, Leo.civil.(something ) made Barad Dur, so maybe you've seen his preview, but sadly his version didn't make it into 3.0, so It's still a generic settlement.
