Does your keyboard have an F-lock button? My keyboard does and I have to enable F-lock to us the F-keys

Man that was cool! It only showed me Pinnath Gelin to Annulond ofc, so no huge orc armies, but it still looked nice

You must have the general with ancillary to use it inside the city.

Well, technically, if the general wasn't in the city, there shouldn't be a green circle but an orange one
So I suppose he has the general inside the city.

It might not be the F3 button you are supposed to press. it's specifically the button which zooms the radar map. is F3 actually the button that zooms the radar map for you? (though i'd be surprised if it wasn't )

It's a brilliant script. I am currently running a High Elf (as usual) and a Gondor campaign, and since Cirdan is not easily ruffled, Denethor's experience quite astounded me.

To all those High Elf imperialists out there... there is another Palantir at Isengard in case you want Cirdan closer to the action!

And on the issue of blue circles, it will still be blue, but have shimmering blue outline when ready.

    @Noldorin:
Hopefully one of these is the answer. If not then I have no idea why it isn't working, as the flashing green indicates that you have done everything correctly.

    Something to try...
Click the radar map's Zoom In button (+) and then hit F3 to see if the map zooms back out. If not then you have a problem with the F3 key in general, or it is not the key that is mapped to Zoom Out.

If you solve it then please let us know, in case someone else has a similar problem.

True, the palantir picture does not change. A ring around it flashes either green (red for The Eye in Barad Dur) or orange - not blue.

Are you doing a hotseat Berengar? In some ways this is not hotseat compatible. Mainly in that it doesn't track "turns since last use" for each faction, so using it for one faction will affect the availability of it for any other factions you are playing too. And I'm not sure how it will behave if you play a Melkor faction and a non-Melkor faction.

May I ask how you achieved that ring? I didn't know it was possible tonedit the UI in game, or didn't you?

I wish you could dynamically alter UI in-game; that would be awesome. No, this is using the ui_indicator thingy. Can't recall the name/command off-hand. There is one monitor in the script that is doing this; search for "animation" and you should find it.

It works for me playing the High Elfs just move the old elf with the beard to that settlement that houses it then wait five turns then click the settlement and then hit F3 (a little note make sure you dont have toggle_fow on)

Well... the stacks that appear as you look are the false stacks.

    What a Necro ;-)

I never do, I use spies, but I believe the FL has to be with it and it needs to be charged up.

I am pretty certain that the FAQ will answer your question though.

All of the required information is in the FAQ and the ingame building infromation. Also please post this in the Official Questions & Answers thread instead of necro'ing a 2 year old thread.
    In it for the rep.
