    No problem... all other packs are performing well. Oh, and I love the drums... but they could be a touch louder, IMHO....

    working on some bugs and tweaking the Battle ai a bit at the moment will have version 1.05 up for download soon, also a new add-on soon!

    Tried out the mod and I really like it. The French shako covers on the line infantry look great. Are there any plans to put greatcoats on some of them as well? Great mod and I hope it keeps getting better!

    thanks, there r still so many bugs in the mod that i am trying to smooth out! it seems that i sort out one bug only to give way for another!

    I do have plans to add greatcoats to the national guard and old guard but they will be released later on down the line in an additional add-on pack.




    I am now uploading version 1.1 of the beta, (this will take about an hour) which tweaks and smooths out some of the bugs also sorts out the AI as i found units were routing too easily

    I just noticed this new mod

    But I think I could offer some historical help for your mod

    For instance, you said you have used France as an average for all unit qualities. French actually had nearly the best of most things (they were usually second best). My and my team have worked up a quality list for all nations, I could give it to you if you would like that

    oooh, yes please mate that would be awesome.

    The way I have done it is so that the french are the second best, I put them as a relatively high faction and worked around them.. the brits are slightly better and everyone else gradually worse if you get my drift, but i would love the assistance, thank you.

    It has been based on 1806 (the starting date for my mod) but there wouldn't be much difference between 1806 and 1805.

    All troops have been ordered in quality of their role (eg. Grenadiers are in order of the best to the worst in melee skill, thats why Russia is so high up in the order).

    As you can see, the British Cavalry and Artillery are not very impressive compared to their infantry.

    French are either the best or 2nd best at everything, they have a very good army.

    Prussia is pretty average with Infantry, were as their cavalry are considered some of the best in Europe.

    After Austria's defeat during 1805, the quality of all their troops did drop, expecially their cavalry.

    This list was created by very reliable historians and other sources, so you can be very confident to use it

    As for unit sizes, what exactly are you basing yours on

    Thank for that Deejay. I'll get cracking with it.

    And my unit sizes are not historically correct, if they were the line regiments would be huge. The reason why my regiments are this size is because i just wanted to increase the size of the units for playability not realism. This mod is not only about realism as I think realism is fine but it needs to have that sense of fun in the game as well which is what this mod does, it makes the game fun again! challenging as the AI is realistic, weapon ballistics are realistic, skins are realistic, and a few other things.

    Not everybody (like my self) enjoy complete realism. And there aren't any realistic mods out there any way, as to get the game realistic you would have to change the whole entire game! as each infantry regiment should have flanking companies. Each faction should have a different rifle drill, as the Prussians had fire by rank, the Russians only used 2 line fire by rank, the french preferred concentrated all out fire. and a hell of a lot of things.

    But seriously thank you for the list thing.

    Right, I am uploading Beta version 1.2 to mega upload. So in an hour or so the new version will be up, see the first post to see the changes made.
