    Default The ring?????

This may sound like a utterly stupid question but if 1 of my general has picked up the one ring in moria- (along with golum) is it possible to destroy it???
Im the silvan elves- can u destroy it with them???
But great game anyways, silvan elves may be be a tad overpowered

I recommend such questions to be put in the Official Questions-thread http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=261921
But to answer your question; no, not in vanilla TATW. Only if you use a submod with such scripts, such as Baron Samedis Compilation, you may destroy it

you cant pick up the ring. it doesnt work that way. the only people who can carry it are the OoMM because they gain the auxiliary. they can however transfer it between generals as they wish, but it cannot be passed across factions unless you bribe the general with said auxiliary, and that would be highly expensive due to the fact that, i believe, it is Lord Burz (the faction heir of OoMM) who first gains the ring auxiliary.

you can "pick up" the ring!
you just kill the general(who has the ring) in a city or castle, stay 1-2 turns in that castle and your general gets the ring!

This statement is completely false. Any general from any faction can pick up the ring (as long as the ancillary doesn't exist in the game). It just happens to be the case that the ring can only be found in a limited number of settlements (Mountain Fort, Goblin town and Moria).
