Hello everyone,
well, the thread title reveals the aim...
About three months ago, when I was rearranging some TW storage folders on my PC, I came across several old files that belonged to a mapping project (...part of a mod I was involved in around three years ago now, but which was scrapped not very much later). The modification was supposed to treat the British Isles within 7th c.AD or so, but yeah, the map was actually the only thing that was finished - at least partly. However, I was always fascinated with the scenario and recently I took some time to try to realise what I had considered quite often and I started trying what I could do with the material I had got so far...yet VI II is certainly one of the best total war mods ever finished hands down , but I liked the idea of "improving" the campaign by assembling a new map.
So the map is also the only thing (apart from the obvious coding work...) that I really want to develop, since Im neither truly capable to do proper skinning and modelling labour nor do I have got too much time to do all the work...anyway I thought of it as a project just for personal fun . The whole rest (units, KI, scripts etc etc) is simply based on this great mod VI II and all accomendation refers to the makers.
But well, of course I wouldn't regret if anyone apllies to help me with my stuff...So if you like to support me, you're welcome

So, there below youve got some stuff I have implemented so far...
At the moment I've worked out the anglo-saxon territories on the map with the list of names used in the map (simply extracted from the ...regions and settlements... register file)

You may notice that some areas (Pennines, Scottish Lowlands and some other smaller areas) are shaped a bit more "accurately", apart from the fact that it is surely a matter of personal mapping style and what kind of effects you want to have on the map and the like , those were the areas I reworked recently cause there were some "mistakes" in them...
So finally I hope for some feedback.

Edit and some information in addition:
The projects title shall be "Brytenwealda" btw, hehe.
The campaign will conform the campaign extent of the original mod...so most things will stay the same.
As you can see, the map doesn't contain the danish and norwegian regions, therefore the danes will start as a horde faction (hope that will work )
