i really like the new units, but the sword of the Nobles of Mithlond are just amazing. those skins are beautifull
Agreed
Oh I will diffidently enjoy them over the previous models... they're an over the top improvement
Woot Woot! You know how much I absolutely love you're work thus far, but slight adjustments are always welcome. The Bodyguards are unbelievable as is, but if you Pimped em out a lil bit more...well sir, It'd be like Christmas come early!!
I kind of like the bodyguards as they are now. The simplicity has a certain elegance all its own that I think fits well for an Elven bodyguard.

Amazing work L.L. + rep to you
the units are just awsome with a little ,,mistake" if I can say it...the GB look like gondorish one...changing they're armour and helmet would look more elfish or smt
i know that they are different but not too much...
Im a bit curious about the armour on the bodyguards. Looks kinda gondorian?
It's the Gondorian who looks like them, 'actually'.
They represent the Noldor/Sindarin 'Nobles' from FA~SA, of which the Numenorean learnt from them, the Elves. (me thinks lol)
It looks very good, IMO. Only the lacking of metallic 'looking' make it a bit 'wrong'.
Aure entuluva!
It's awesome, i can't wait to try this new units in 3.0
I like the bodyguards, they have a lot of elven elements to them. Those people who say they look like they're from Gondor, did you actually look at the armour itself or just base it on - similar helmets and metallic colour?
Loving the other units as well by the way.

Love them, if you ever need someone to help make a few models i can be of help to you
Beautiful work as usual LL !
One question and one comment.
1. Will we ever see more of your amazing 2D building art for the remaining vanilla buildings in TA:TW ?
2. The body armour of the Smiths of Eregion seems a bit weird in concept to me. Their belly and stomach is not protected by the armour, only by chainmail between their breast plates and waist armour.
The BG's armour is alright in design.
It's much more 'segmented' compared to the Gondorian armour, actually.
Bear much resemblance to the Eldar armour.
And what's with 'changing Gondor BGs'?
The 'lighter' Smiths could use a little bit 'decoration' on the belly, though.
Maybe some belt or tunic under the armour?
Aure entuluva!
Watching again and again the wonderfull roster of this project i had some questions about Elves.
Elves are immortals.
Elves (if not killed) live for ever. So the elder Elves gather riches for long years plus gather battle expirience (those who survuved battles in hundreds of years). Even the new recruits (new born Elves) can be well trained because their teachers are masters of war.
Now two points...
Elves can not have "peasant" type units .
Those youngsters can be finanshed by their familly to have access to high quality armor.
So "wooden" shields and simple leather jackets are out of question.
Why?
"Mithril" is light as a feather and strong as a dragon's tooth.
So ambush tasked units can be equipted with "chain mail" look mithril armor (chain mail was Talkin's favorite armor thank to his viking worship) that allows ambushers to move fast with out the wheight problem.
We must NOT forget that the story is a fairy tail and "logic" or human society features are not basic in fairy tails!
I know its a game but a new "formula" must be found in Elves (and in Orc for the same reassons) apearence.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
read this to avoid misunderstandings.
IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.
People are talking crazy the similarities are practically non-existent. I wanted to give the helmet the axe thing like the eldars have but I didn't have the model for it. The bodyguard was based on these movie concepts made for the elves:
There are four armour pieces for the smiths, one set is base on the eldar armour and the other is based on the galadhrim armor. I'll try and give them a leather mid section like the galadrhim to improve their look.
I dont think the BG looks gondorian at all.
