Yes. It says that the Java.exe is damaged. Then it says that it couldn't do something with JVM because it's heap size is too large or an Anti-Virus is blocking it.

Hey, I got mine working fine but I can't mod my NTW startpos on the NTW version, only on the ETW version. When I got to edit a the mp_eur_napoleon startpos, it says something about a text file not being able to be created. Some help as I would prefer to use the NTW version.

Make sure that you have admin privileges, because the tool creates, copies and deletes several txt and xml files. If you have another hard drive (e.g. E: on your PC you may try also this. Copy EasyEsf from C:\Programs Files\EasyEsf for NTW to E:\EasyEsf for NTW and execute it from there. Maybe in this way you bypass some of the UAC restricitons of your OS.

Yer, I am the admin - and I don't have another drive, it just says "Error, could not save text file"

btw, have you considered adding region ownership changing to the EasyESF

    What is your OS?

Region ownership changing can be done only live, in game and make hybrid (tutorial). If you edit startpos you won't have a stable campaign.

Are you planning to create this fantastic tool for Shogun II, too?

That is my OS too... Check if there is origfile.txt in your C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyEsf for NTW\Data\Docs folder. If not create one (blank).

I think I've found out what is going on. Do not use the shortcut but execute the exe from program's folder as admin and you are good to go.

It Says (( attempt to Index global 'commandline ' (a nil value)
    Stack traceback:
    1- {Globals} Line: 78 in function esf2xml'
    2- {Main} -> Button5-> on Click Line: 5 in main Chunk

When I Click Ok It Says Converting Esf File And Stays Like This.

EasyEsf executes the converters from command line. If this cannot be happened then the procedure is ruined. Possible reasons UAC of your OS or problem in installation.

Are you sure that you use the Napoleon version (it is in line 78 in ETW tool and in 79 in NTW)?

Hi Husserl, i tried using EasyEsf to add slots in Stockholm, but when i enter the game it crashes.

I used the startpos of the eur_napoleon folder and the regions of nap_europe, maybe i used the wrong files?

The right startpos is the one in mp_eur_napoleon (Coalition Campaign). The one you used is for Napoleonic European campaign. Adding slots works very well, I've tested thoroughly.

This thread seems to be only about problems, so I shoud fallow!

I run the program as a administer, I have put the file in the right place, but when I change for exampel treasury, it says: Esf conversion has failed. I press ok then it says succes, I press ok and it says succes again, and I press the ok button... again. I change the treasury and press SET, and then it says: Failed to execute command line. I press ok and it says your new Esf file is ready for use use, I press ok (again) And I see the file that hasnt been changed since 2010 03 25. And it dosen work in the game eather

Sooo, hope you understand what I just wrote cuse I suck at explaining things

Make sure that ou have installed the latest update. If you fail once then you should start over because xml have been corrupted so there is no point on continue changes. Changing treasury is a very easy modification. The row of fail-success, fail-success, etc. is normal and I have explained in details what is happening when a windowed application is monitoring a console one.
