None of these should conflict with a unit conversion mod, so you should be safe.

Future versions will, however, modify a lot more, maybe even some units.
    Great! Cheers a bunch!

    Preview time!

Radboud has been working on the Southern UI Buttons:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Whilst I've completed the Northern Eventpics:

    (Action Stealth)

Rad also made a border for the Dornish Pictures, which alas are merely copies of the Southern Eventpics:

    (Upgrade Settlement to Huge City)

Finally, this is the planned feature list for the next update:

    - New Splash, Menu and Loading Screen graphics

    - All New Faction Symbols

    - All New Quotes

    - All New Northern and Southern Eventpics

    - Whole New Southern User Interface

The Rep speaks for itself my friend I hope the fans are dishing it out equally amongst us .

Hard to impress when there is so much work going on that is mostly in secret . On the other hand we did complete the new border designs last night and get a new font up and running, not much but it surprisingly does a lot. I've looked into strat city models but I need more time to focus on them and with the imminent release of Season 2 (and optimistically more than just that ) I'd rather leave some things in the hope of getting more material to work from. Nonetheless it is the Easter break coming up, so work rate shall hopefully double. We've been toying with implementing videos, nothing decided yet though.

I would preview stuff but I won't be home for 2 hours

God I overuse the "" smily...

Great job guys. It greatly enhances the atmosphere. +rep

I guess I can't convince you to do some things for the King of River and Hills mod?

A collage of additions: from Fonts to stratmap sigils (look carefully at the bannermen!)

Hopefully future versions will have more detailed bannermen

    P.S. We're a tad busy Dux

I've installed this mod -in the right place, I have 18 loading screen files now-, but it isn't working. The normal Westeros starts up fine, but with the same old loading screens.

The only other mod I've installed is the Lannister reskin, might this have something to do with it?

    Thanks in advance

You did install in the /data folder and not just the /Westeros one right? I made that mistake first time round.

I would firstly point out that nothing in the OP relates to the Current Version of this mod apart from the bit of text that specifies "Current Version", it's merely a preview of what is to shortly come. The Current Version's Loading Screens and Main Menu feature an older border but with the same pictures from Game of Thrones.

Now, if you're still not getting any of HBO's Imagery, and have the Vanilla WTW, I'll guide you through the installer:

At the Directory screen it will tell you that the mod will be installed to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Westeros
Firstly, as StannisBaratheon (the TWC user not the King ) suggested, I seem to have retardedly forgotten to add "\data" to that file path.

Secondly, you may not run a system where you have a "Program Files (x86)" folder, this is a Windows Vista/7 64 bit feature I believe. To check this, go to "My Computer" (or just "Computer"), then Local Disk, then look to see what Program Files folders you have in that directory.

The easiest method of course is just to find a shortcut to Westeros Total War, Open File Location, and copy the FULL filepath to "...\Westeros\Data".

Ah thank you so much Stannis and Inarus, it was the \data thing. It's working fine for me now, looks great Inarus! I really appreciate the timely response and all the work you've put in!

Thanks guys and I'll fix that in the next release Seanzzxx.

Would anyone like me to develop an additional text file for separate download which, when installed with your own Game of Thrones Soundtrack, mixes in those tracks to the game. This is theoretical, I can guess some tracks will fit in well in places, but of course it will be patchy. Anyway say yes and I'll try my best.

EDIT: Anyone know how I can get hold of the vanilla descr_sounds_music.txt? (It's not in the data folder where it should be.)

Cool idea, I assume you need to have the Game of Thrones soundtrack yourself on your own computer?
    The file is in westeros/data/world/maps/base.

Yes, you will need to get hold of a copy yourself as I certainly cannot share it. The music will then need to be copied to a directory I specify "...\data\sounds\GoT" or something like that.

Unfortunately that isn't the text file, that's descr_sounds_music_types.txt

I'll ask around, vanilla M2 seems to lack a lot of files that I find in other mods, maybe they need extracting from the Packs or something

Oh and Rad has almost finished the southern campaign UI

There is such a file in the vanilla medieval II data folder, can't you use that one?
