Too dark, way too dark! You have to brighten it up.

Is my laptop's backlight stronger? Looks okay to me...

Do you question my opinion of suitable brighteness?

IMHO I would lose that pic all together. Its dark and unclear, especially at the smaller size.

Don't blame me for your lack of skill . Seriously, you should listen to Finlander. Photoshop shows images brighter than they really are, so you should make the image brighter. The image I posted is a lot better than the head on a stake thing .

    Better quality image:

    And a tad brighter:

Urgh that looked better in Gimp. But I really wouldn't say these images were dark... until I remove my backlight

    How so? Just relevance?

And anyway, you haven't seen that scene yet.

(Okay so it's irrelevant to assassinations but still apt as a consequence of an assassin dying)

Oh and for the Faction Troubled pics, I'm considering using the images of the slain Stag and Direwolf from Episode I for Southern and Northern Event Pics respectively.

Westeros: Total War font added as attachment, please do not re-use without my permission (unless for personal, undistributed, use).

    Very good, I love it.

It just seems to me that the picture I posted is more fitting for the assassin slain pic.

Hey, I was messing around with the faction symbols, trying to re-create the look from the series. If you're already making a submod with the HBO imagery, I thought you might want to use them. These are the Arryn and Stark symbols, the banners have been changed correspondingly (campaign map etc) but I can't take screenshots for some reason. If you want them I can finish them (along with the other houses) and upload the files.

You should add an inner shadow on the circle of one pixel with an opacity of 70-75%.

Gorgeous! It seems like I should say more. But what else is to say? Martel has one "L"*.

Work is slow, but things are likely to speed up, particularly with the release of more and more previews in the lead up to Season Two.

LOL, thanks . Season 2 will probably force us (me) to redo some symbols.

Thanks, but what images? I curse my laptops ability to adjust screen brightness so easily (and well past a computer's norm), I can't tell what's too dark!

After hours of hard work and countless cups of tea, we have completely overwritten every single* Southern_European culture-group** Event Picture previously modded by the WTW team.

And here is the result, much larger and with a whole new border:

    Enemy General's Death message:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Faction Symbols as seen in-game:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Messenger:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Mission Priest message:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Prisoners Executed:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Friendly General's Death message:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Work now continues on vanilla M2TW Event Pictures, which should form my next preview.

Radboud created that marvellous border, and is currently working on UIs influenced by the TV series.

    * The Naval battle image posed the only issue, so simply have a fresh new border .

** The Southern_European Culture-group has been extended to include Lannister and Tully (still a bit hazy about southern_european extending to Tully, on one hand they support the Starks, on the other they worship the seven and are in southern Westeros, I shall look to their portrayal in future series to decide). Previously, cultures were the same as Medieval2 - England and France were northern, even though they represent Lannister and Tully respectively.
