Mauryan portraits

I'm proud to present a preview of the mauryan portraits. that i've been so much time working on.

they are based in the ancient indians. india was a great civilization like greece and egypt but unfortunately not seen as one. so was very hard to find sources of how exactly were the ancient indians. so my sources are movies like alexander and some bolywood ones,budhas and hindu gods. as in this image they apear as some that i made from the "Mummy returns" portraits but i made more from the easterns. as both seems indians and both seemed good for me. i've added both of them in the mod. i think this mod could be usefull for alexander mods that add india to campaign too. anyway i just need to fix and make some more things and i will post the link.

thanks very much. i have good news i decided to make a total revamp of the project that in mine "perfectionist" point of view wasn't good enough. so now i can say will be very original. but soon i will release it with a little more things included. like i'm a dreamer toghetter with this pack i will release a bonus of queens portraits (not only indians) and few ancillaries (that i have no idea how to install but if someone like). but before i release this portraits i need to have sure they would be added to the game. so i come to ask if its possible for the Mod leaders to could add the extra culture ?.

As a Hindu, i can say it's very well done. You should also put beards on them to give a more authentic look.

yes i've added more beards, gold chains, face paints, and now even feathers.

MarkusAntonius, my apologies for the delay. I did not remember that I had to add the new culture to all the buildings' entries in the export_buildings file, which is really time-consuming. I am working still working on it.

no problem. I'm almost finished with the portraits here. I'm just worried about these antipiracy laws. if they are approved everyone will have problems to post mods freely again.

Fortunately I downloaded the RG from megaupload just 2 days before it was closed down. I also fear that the problems with the accessibility of mods will come. Anyway great news about portraits.
