Anyway of solving the issue with the load menu?
Anyway of solving the issue with the load menu?
Well, if you go to the menu folder and make sure that the rome.lnt file is still there, if it is, make sure it is the matching file with the 7z file's.
If these two files match, go to the data\text folder and check if menu_english.txt file is there. And if so, make sure that matches with the 7z file's menu_english.txt.
Both were different in terms of file size. Added quick battle, prologue and his battle for the first and the second changed the name to Imperial Campaign. But it still doesn't let me enter the campaign when I select the button. When I back out it still gives the same error. The one for ATW reignited for menu_english.txt was actually slightly larger but I wasn't sure about copy/pasting it over the vanilla games version. Should I have done this?
Script Error in
AmazonTW-Reignited/data/world/maps.campaign/barbarian_invasion/descr_strat.txt, at line 27, column 1.
Expected start date of campaign or battle.
Just guessing again, if it is a straight install, all the files should match in content and sizes.
So if I un-compress the 7z file, both files in the uncompressed directory should match with the two files in your installed directory (not BI or RTW\data). If not, something is wrong.
Opened the zip file with 7zip and it says that those files are slightly larger than the ones I got when I extracted the files. So I'll try extracting the files and replacing the ATW I've got.
Could be because, as I menitoned elsewhere I'am having to extract the files on a USB stick then copy and paste them in. Had the thing for a while and it might be corrupting the data, or, something; I really am tech illiterate.
Okay, that didn't work.
Tried again and the 7zip seems to have come up with a long list of "output files" that it cannot open.Could it be a faulty version of 7zip? Plus for some reason my computer still won't let me extract the mod on the actual PC after it goes through the process because "access is denied" for some reason. Thing really doesn't want me to get the game!

Parthian. I think its the 7zip system that I have. For some reason it seems to be not opening or reading certain files after I've unpacked them and pasted them where they are. I know that thats the case for Reignited because it tells me it won't open certain systems however it came up with the same error when I tried putting subrosa mod on and the 7zip didn't report anything. But at any rate could you send a link to the7zip system that you use to open the files? It should just be that right? I don't need any other file reading things for my computer to play the game right; just need the 7zip to work?
I think you mentioned somewhere on strategy informer that its a bad idea to copy and paste the document around but obviously I'am being forced to do that. If I come out of the interent and disable my spyware should I just be able to put it on. Or is it something I need to change as the administrator regarding modded files?
You are right, many of the 7z software utilities are not perfect, there are functions which will cause corruption or crash.
It is best to rename or delete your previous installations and unzip to a clean folder. Perhaps I should mention something like that in the readme file.
i followed all the instruction in all mods all of it when starting a campaign always CTD when loading is not even half way thru
hi ....so i see from the rome medieval ,battles of asia and this {amazon re ignited}site that you are having problems with getting campaigns to work , i would suggest at this point that you uninstal rtw/bi/alex and delete all trace of them then re - instal again its the only way to get clean ...then once you have done this you should make copies of the 'DATA'...'BI' AND 'ALEX' folders this way you will have a clean copy of your main folders that you can use as source replacements when things go wrong....hope this helps![]()

its just what i do i copy rtw directory from local disk (C) to local disk (D) and make several copies
still can't play campaign.........activemovie window still pops up
sorry im just gonna clarify this: i can't play any amazon factions but other factions are fine in ATW reignited
in Rome Medieval i can play campaign smooth if only i put -ne.............not that it matters anyway gonna give up on it i've been having troubles with it for months
First of all, so appreciative of your persistence.
Second, you are not supposed to make any copy of RTW or BI directory unless you are backing files up so you can copy them back in case the files are messed up.
If you have vanilla installation of RTW/BI 1.6, all you need is to unzip the AmazonTW-Reignited folder from the 7z file to the active RTW/BI directory, so the directory tree looks like this
data
BI
AmazonTW-reignited
where data is the RTW data directory, and BI is the Barbarian Invasion folder, and the AmazonTw-Reignited is your new folder.
So in order to help you, I would need to know if you have RTW and BI 1.6.
And if they are installed, if they are installed vanilla, ie no other mod are changing the contents in data or BI folder ?
RTW 1.5 BI 1.6 well i have RS and RS2 before i reinstall my entire rtw last night
