Motto's and coat or arms are a resonably big deal in the land of westeros, whats yours? Here's mine in all its glory

The Shield is: Sable, on a bend cottised argent, a rose gules, buttoned or, leaved vert, between two annulets gules.
Translation: The rose symbolizes Beauty and Grace. The annulet is held to be an emblem of Fidelity
The Crest is: The bust of a moor in profile, couped at the shoulders proper and wreated about the temples argent and azure.
The Motto is: "Fide et amore", 'Faith and love'. As in faith in god and love for family/friends/country
Origin: Ireland

That's my family's.

Never been able to find the Motto or anything. My parents would know but keep forgetting to ask I keep meaning to get into Medieval Reenactment, if it ever happens I'm totally painting that on my shield.

I just know that some of my ancestors were minor prussian/polish nobles. Ofc, nobody of my ancestors cared for our family history and tracing it all back is nearly impossible now.

My father's family, the O'Haras, have this:



Our motto is "Try". To be honest, it isn't that impressive. Nor is our coat of arms - lions are way overused.

My mother's family is more interesting. Jewish families don't usually have a coat of arms, but our branch, which could be called the Ashkenazis of New York, does have a sigil - a tree with nineteen branches, for my great-grandfather's nineteen children. Six of the branches do not have leaves, for the six children who died in childhood. We do not have a motto yet, but I have proposed "Mishpachah, Ahavah, Emunah" ("Family, Love, Faith") as ours. And yes, I was directly inspired by House Tully's words.
