The infantry and acavalry pics in the first post are from an Osprey book, I presume?

That is a very fair point, perhaps you can clarify Orlok? Osprey pictures cannot be put on this forum for copyright reasons.

Does not look like Osprey to me. I would say these pictures are older, you can even see how ink brushes can be noticed and the poor colouring of some infantry pictures (no offence, just saying they're old).

Those pictures come certainly from Handbuch der Uniformkunde (1896) and were drawn by Richard Knötel during late XIXth / early XXth century.
    Richard Knötel (wikipedia)

So, they should not be under copyright.

Thats probably because he just edited the post and removed the pictures that looked like osprey ones, which is perfectly fair.

(I can view the post history, so I can see the difference)

Tango is right ,I removed them immediately ( I didn't know the situation...)
Any comment about the units ? (any news about this faction?)

This faction is not in the first round of units that are being made by the modellers/skinners (only one of whom is active on TWC at all), and as such we haven't really thought about it yet. If we waited to do every faction before releasing the mod, we'ed still be like this in years time, so we will probably make all the units but use vanilla models/skins as placeholders until the proper ones arrive.

When we do think about it, we would rather have pictures from the late 1860's onwards, since we are trying to represent the period 1865 onwards, rather than the 1850's.
