A few mods made by me:
Smugglers Lair Redone -> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48860 featuring shops containing objects from the main mods on nexus
Daefling -> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31559 a new race based on the Tieflings from D&D lore, moved into TES lore
Intensive Dungeons -> http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29739 non-quested dungeons to explore around Skyrim
I haven't read the whole thread.
I'm hoping a mod has been developed that changes the gameplay towards a more TES4 style. (Leveling, magic creation, etc).
Any luck with that?
"Every idea is an incitement. It offers itself for belief and if believed it is acted on unless some other belief outweighs it or some failure of energy stifles the movement at its birth. The only difference between the expression of an opinion and an incitement in the narrower sense is the speaker's enthusiasm for the result. Eloquence may set fire to reason." -Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.
No, i don't think so. Stopped playing a year ago after using hundreds of mods.Anyway, i'm checking the mod site everyday to keep up but since that they have released every mod except adding new gameplay elements , new long quests and some other tweaks. All i see is now, new hot companions, new armors and weapons, different texture replacements for city and dungeons (useless imo) and adding new silly houses/dungeons.
I miss Oblivion and Morrowind but it's too late now and that abomination TESO will affect future Elder Scrolls series (if they will make a new one) which i'm very upset about this.
^No idea what your're on about, there are rakes of gameplay mods.
I use these two main ones:
Character Creation Overhaul: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21587/? - Makes character creation more like Oblivion's, so you can choose your class or create your own and also choose your birthsign.
Skyrim Redone: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9286/? - Overhauls everything from combat to skill trees. Skill trees are far more extensive and can branch out into sub-trees. The Immersive Weapons mod compliments it's combat system so make sure to grab that one too.
If you want something really hardcore, Requiem is worth looking at which makes more of an effort to recreate Morrowind/Daggerfall type gameplay: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/?
Also these two mods add spell creating:

Already used everyone of them. Only mod i've been waiting is Skywind.
I am trying to find a that will enhance all races including the NPCs in terms of looks and bodies.
I want something close to the vanilla but without the ugly textures.
for example this
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods...%3D32329&pUp=1
is a good balance, the body looks high def, bulky, nothing ridiculous or pornographic.
now I just need something like this for both males and females which also apply to all NPCs.
I actually tried CBBE and several others but most of the time I dont seem to see any effects.
I have many mods installed and virtually everything works except major race overhauls where they change or update the race's look.
I am quite f-ing sure that women didn`t have bikinis or the type of bra that didn`t cover the lower half of the tits in middle ages or late middle ages.

Can anyone help me with SkyRe ? I know that it has an armour cap of 900.Can someone help me to mod it ? If that isn`t an option, can I use a mod that raises the armour cap with SkyRe ?
Just noticed this thread. Does anyone know of any good Male body and face redo mods? Because the vanilla males always look like veiny buff asians for me whenever I try and create a male character.
I think I tried one but it makes all the males look really boyish and attractive... eye candy for girls.
I have not yet found a good body for males that just enhances them.
So I'm a complete noob to Elder Scroll , what mod is recommended for new players, and the million dollar question of should I join the racist stormcloaks or the SOB imperials? seems like a difficult choice.
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....
Best way would be to roleplay it out. Depends of your race and etc. Due to the great war and the white gold concordat i'd loosely make the connection of Imperials = Vichy France, Stormcloaks = Free French and Thalmor = Nazi germany.
If its put that way its not that hard a choice lol.
For mods, this is a good list: http://skyrimgems.com/
Most mods i have are immersion and roleplaying mods such as Frostfall (your character feels cold/warm, has to take shelter and use fur cloaks and etc in most areas) Realistic needs and disease (your char has to eat, drink and sleep periodically) and some others... Just pick the ones you think you'll enjoy what it adds.
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

Join this site then search for top 100. Then install everything from there till bottom. If you don't have any experience for modded games it will be much much harder to get working them flawlessly.

Ok dawgs, anyone have ready compilation of mods for skyrim? I know there is step but it take ages to install all that mods and instruction to instal them is quite bad
Not a compilation per se, but I've used this guide to install and play before and it's a great setup for experiencing an updated Skyrim. If you check the STEP Forums there are many other good guides to check out as well, one being REGS which features city extenders and quest mods primarily.

EDIT - Whoops didn't read that you had tried STEP - still this isn't related to the main project there so it may be worth a try anyway. It's more straightforward in its documentation.
Like Neverwinter Nights? Wondering where to go now that the old NWN Vault is gone? Come visit the new one at http://neverwintervault.org/!
What are the must have mods that require DLC if any? I'm gonna buy Skyrim this sale and wanna mod it to OBLIVION! Any great mods that require DLC? Thanks!
Too expensive. I'd rather get Shogun 2 or Shadow Warrior or Metro. Or anything else. I don't need horses that much. Nor vampires.
