The problem is keeping and maintaining two versions of the tool. If 1.6.7 does what he wants and 1.7.5 doesn't, why switch versions in midstream?

i'm still getting a data grid error when i open unite stat
it says system argument exception: datagridviewcomboboxcell invalid
Version 1.7.7 uploaded.
- added support for newer (i.e., Shogun 2) unit_variant files
I did open some and they look kind of weird (with empty lines) but that's how they are in the files from CA...
Also:
- added automatic opening of text editor for file types ".tai", ".xml.rigging", ".placement", ".hlsl"
- added "open as text" feature for any file (context menu)
- corrected display of unsupported db files in tree view
- improved performance of display of supported db files
I noticed there were several text files embedded in the packs; I can't realistically make a list of all of them and provide a new build as soon as I find one, so I added the "open as text" feature in the context/pack actions menu.
Some unsupported db files were not shown as red although we don't have a description for them; I corrected that. Note that most of them are actually empty so we never will have a description... meaning that effectively, all db files are now supported.

bug report;
last two rows won't display properly
screenshot attached.
i assume PFM doesn't support UTF-8 or 16?
another bug report;
I exported patch12\db\effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions_tables\effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions to TSV format
After I made some changes tried importing TSV it gave an error message
I tested exporting TSV and importing TSV right away but produces same error
The problem is reproducible
TSV exporting/importing feature works well with other tables (eg. db\effect_bundles_tables\effect_bundles)
I don't see the problem?
I found the problem. This is a bug in the software but has a workaround by changing the db file type descriptions.
I'll be fixing this in the software next build, until then I'm uploading a patched DBFileTypes (no. 5 - which should fix it, let me know if it doesn't).
The DB Descriptions->Search For Update should get it.

Thanks for adding .tai support. Much appreciated.
When you have some time, could you look at the .TSV exporting/importing of the "cai_base_building_context_values" db file?
They export fine but refuse to import . Naughty little bugger.

How can I solve this error?
[IMG][/IMG]
I could reproduce the problem but don't have time to analyze it before next year
I get the same thing and was wondering if nobody else has it.
The short of it is: I'm really sorry, but I have no idea. It has something to do with the library used by the image display function, but I didn't implement this. I tried renaming the DLL (OpenImageNET.dll), but that only gives another error message...

Whats about all those colors in the db files ?
Red means there is no information about the structure of that db file. Consequently, if you select it, you get the "not supported... here is a list" message.
Yellow means there is a more current database structure than the one in the opened pack.
This is meant to indicate that the file might cause problems if you try to start the current S2 version with it; I don't know how downwards-compatible the game is.

Ah thanks !
I choose variantmodels for my mod
But ı take this error
How do I fix this error?
If you can set the error in English it would help
Does anyone else have any errors with PFM 1.7.7 "ADD ROW" button?
When I try to add a row to a table it just gives an error and never adds a new row.
I will try to export to TSV and see if I can get it to work that way
Like it says, "added files must be in the relative directory or a subdirectory".
When you create your mod (with "New"), it asks you for the base directory. You can only add files and directories below that.
No; just tried it out, works fine for me.
What table are you working on?

No table in particular, if I try to add a row to a table that doesn't already have an existing row in it then PFM will spit out an error instead of add the row. The table I specifically wanted was one of the building tables (building_faction_variant).
EDIT: the building_faction_variant table is not normally used in Shogun 2 but it does still function when you populate it so that is why I am trying to add row to it. The old PFM 1.6.5 that worked with patch 6 was able to add rows to that table if this helps
In the "groupings_table" if I try to add a row, it will add the row at the second-to-last row but not at the end of the table. Weird... tried it again after adding some rows by cloning some that were already there. Now when I hit the "Add Row" button it does nothing.
Luckily the Clone button works fine so I can work around the error.
