Yes, they do invade from the east (from where else could they?).
ok i am eager to kick em out middle east!
thanks
They appear near Samarkand, which is not quite the Khwarezmian start base.
And in my recent campaign the Mongols annihilated Khwarezmians, took almost everything from Khwarezm to Fars, but were stopped, pushed back and eventually crushed by an alliance of few factions, with Ghurids ahead.
would be fun to play the mongols and conquer nearly everything as it was historical!
EB II is finally out! ...NOW!!!...
No they didnt, India was never conquered by them, and please dont mention the mughal empire since it didn't conquer it and just because the founder was genghis khans son, it doesnt make it automatically part of the mongolian empire which collapsed before Mughal existed...
I really wanna know... why go into endless, tough battles in the middle east who considered it a jihad to fight against the mongols rather than invading India, much closer to the Mongols, therefore easier to suppress and run from a centralized power.
They did invade India, but were beaten back by the Dehli Sultanates.. After that, they really didn't try to invade India.
Mughals weren't a part of the Mongol empire, but the early emperors like Babur were Turkic-Mongols. The early Mughals were a offshoot of the Chagatai Khanate. Later things changed after emperor Akbar. The Mughal emperors had Rajput blood, because of the tradition of giving birth to the next emperor with a Rajput princess.

that what you say in your last sentence doesnt matter, they were still mughal rulers because its important of what the father is, if the father was mughal and the mother rajput makes him more mughal then rajput,
There was many messaging between Yildirim Beyazid and Timur Lenk because of this, because this was important in turkish traditions in that time
