    This is their response:

    "Dear customer,

System which is using 64bit Windows please download 64bit version @bios utility ( version B11.1004.1 date 2011/10/04 ) from webpage and refer to flash bios update procedure below:
    http://www.gigabyte.com/support-down...lity.aspx?cg=2

    1) Download latest version bios from web, click on install extracts it to a folder on windows desktop ( make a new folder on windows desktop).
    2) Install new @bios utility from download.
    3) Open @bios utility, click on update bios from files, browse to the folder on windows desktop which has the extracted bios files, click on bios file, click on update bios, follow message on screen to complete.

    Best regards,

    Gigabyte technical support team."

This did not work at all. I just told them that. I'm pretty sure I did everything right, even if the instructions are extremely vague and confusing. Hopefully they know whats goin on.

Alright. GIGABYTE actually gave me a fix that worked. Its the attached file. I have Windows 7 64-bit with a GA-M68MT-S2 motherboard. Just in case anyone else has those specs and this problem. Just run your BIOS utility, select "update from file" and browse to the attached file. BOOM. CEG games work now.

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU on the cheap and it seemed like Bulldozer was the best option. However has the BIOS updates worked for people? I know my maker (ASUS) has released one but I have yet to install it.

I had the same problems, updating the BIOS for my ASUS M5A78L/USB3 with BIOS 1003 did the trick.

    Contact Gigabyte.
    Verify the game cache.
    Post your dxdiag.
Uninstall Chrome if you have it installed.

They have released F9 so I doubt writing them will be of any use

Will check the cache, and post dxdiag. I always use Chrome, so could it be the culprit??

Chrome culprit because it includes malware called Incredbar Toolbar. Uninstall it, then try it.

Updating the graphics drivers at www.amd.com could help as are almost a year old.
Updating the High DefinitionAudio codecs could help as they are almost a year old.
Activate your copy of Wiin 7 if not done so and run Windows Update manually and install all software options starting with Service Pack 1.
Find at least another 15gb of free space on C: drive for this game a swapfile.

Many do, and this maybe the reason why.

Thanks Soul Reapir! I have a AMD Radeon HD 6670 with an AMD FX-4100 with the same motherboard, was wondering why the game load was taking FOREVER! Luckily i found out the problem and ran into this thread, now i'm running Shogun 2 on High + Ultra with Shader Model 5 on dx11 thanks, you're a life saver.

I read the whole thread, and it looks like a totally different language to me. I don't know what BIOS is or how to do this or something other, but what I do know is my card is AMD Bulldozer. When I looked at my specs I didn't see Bulldozer anywhere, but I googled the card, and it said it was Bulldozer series. Anyways I have no idea how to use the fix, because I am not well versed in computers at all. If it helps, here's my dxdiag. My Shogun 2 runs extremely slowly, even on the bare minimum settings. Not to mention, loading screens take at least 3-10 minutes every time. Whenever I play Medieval 2, the settings are maxed, and for Skyrim the settings are High, a step down from max, they run extremely smoothly. I've been researching this problem for awhile, but I've given up, hopefully you can help me.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
