    Yeah, I think the unit cards are one of those things where you either love them or your don't. Perhaps you could have a double release, one with the new unit cards, and one without? If it's too much work then no problem , but if not that might be cool. Up to you, and good luck!

    People spend more time looking at the unit cards than they do any other graphic in the game, beside the campaign map User Interface and the campaign map itself, so what visual experience concerns it is presumably more important than most

    A second version is a big matter for such a minor part what size concerns. An offiicial or volunteer patch is the better solution, if the desire is great

    Its very easy to have the mod without the cards. Just point the installer to another folder other than the TATW folder. Delete the ui folder and then paste into TATW.

    And those Elven villages and small towns! I don't like it when I have to defend my Elven settlements when they look like humans build them.

    ok I can simply delete the unit cards from the main release and make it available in a secondary download link for peple with interest in it.
    Besides this, I recomend everyone to try my new unit cards in game... they look epic, you will see.

    Don't think there is a decision yet, but the discussion is back in the open. Apparently the "Great Lords" decided that it didn't belong in "a secret Hex forum".

    On another note, I think that when the decision (good or bad) finally does get to Leo, he still will be operating under TWC rules. Unless he chooses to ignore it, which I don't think he is inclined to.

    In addition to my try on making dwarves the engineering masters, I've added the grapeshot ability for their catapults, see it on the preview section.

    That is excellent news, but I wonder, wouldn't it be better to remove the ballista from the dwarves, move catapult to Tier one, and give them mangonel with normal shot on t2? no offense.

    Is there a new state of affairs about the permission to release the custom elven settlements? I read the discussion-thread linked above on this page but it seems to me as if nobody was discussing about this matter right now. How are your chances to get the permission by KingKong or to be allowed to release it without his permission in near future?

    Although I'm certainly not Leo, I'd like to say this about it:

    I can understand that you are curious about this as probably every visitor to this thread is.

    The "Bigwigs" are probably busy doing research on this matter, discussing it and maybe even are trying the seemingly impossible: contact KK! Their verdict would probably be a precedent setting one regarding the question at hand, so they have to be very careful.
    Besides that, it seems to me that Leo would inform us about the decision, just about as soon as he got it (perhaps through Elvenkind, who started the discussion thread). I can imagine Leo wouldn't be happy with people inundating him with PM's and VM's and posts in this thread asking him the same thing over and over.
