They are creatures created for Lord of the Rings Online, they are called Gorthorog. Supposed to be sort of like "cousins" of Trolls, remnants of ancient Angmar.

Barad dur will be ready, dont worry. Just wait... However things have changed in therms of developing. My wish is to contribute and soon have a complete ME strat map with ALL settlements, no matter how.

Do not take what I said about Barad Dur as like Im saying I will release it with bad quality just for the sake of having it done. No way.
What happened is that something changed and this will probably result in MORE QUALITY.
Bascially, Barad Dur will develop by itself, I dont need to work on it anymore, magical abilities.
There is forces of darkness involved in this now.
And when it is ready, it will auto-release by itself.

After analyzing all custom settlements in 3.0, Im really happy with the results of my ones.
I see small glitches and concept issues that matches my ones.

Everyone interested in more custom settlements should put your hands in IWTE.
There is a manual made by KK and the tool itself requires no special ability to be handled.
There is tons of models in 3.0 folder made by KK, with textures. All you need to do is to take them and mount your own custom settlements.
There is still a lot of work to do. I would like to see more people taking this.

Where can I find this tool? How difficult is it exactly to produce something worthwile? I would love to be able to build my own settlements
May be leo.civil.uefs explain this. I want Minas Morgul as custom battle settlement. But can't understand how does new architecture works. The view of settlement depends on faction_ creator's specific culture, am I right ? According to descr_strat we have norway and danemark as creators of Minas Morgul and Minas Ithil, both are nothern_european culture. And there is no "Custom" or "Unique" culture as in Custom Battle options. Minas Morgul is a "fortress" in descr_strat, but in Custom Battle options this type of settlement means Hornburg.
