    Indeed, and the phrase, "be careful what you ask for" is very apt.

    Being a fan of Total War games these days is a very bitter sweet affair, it was never like this 6 years ago. When ever they do something right, I`m always wondering in the back of mind "What are they planing to do to screw it all up now for greed?"

    You can`t praise them too much for something well done because sooner or later they`ll use it to take advantage and make you regret your words.

    I'm shocked at how CA fail to respond once very well thought out and constructive suggestions are made. Seems like they can do a lot of talk yet when it comes down to it, do the bare minimal for the modding community.

    I'd like to leap to our defence on that one. *leaps majestically*

    Firstly, we do absolutely listen to suggestions. Fall of the Samurai brought with it a lot of things the community have been asking for over the years - from naval bombardment to 40v40 battles out of the box. The blood pack only happened because the community really wanted it.

    On the modding front, we absolutely bust a gut to get TEd out to the community. That was no small undertaking, and believe me it was a lot of hard work to get out. We released table data for Empire and Napoleon. We informed modders of changes to our save file format ahead of a patch.

    Furthermore, we're having a modding summit in the next few weeks. Again, we're under no obligation to do that, but we want to have those conversations - not for PR purposes (after all, the impact will only be felt among the existing community), but because we're keen to establish better lines of communication with the people who care the most about our games.

    Craig, will we ever see the abiity to reset our hero/DLC units in MP? Or maybe some more vet slots so we can field a larger variety of armies(I know about prestige but it's such a grind for so few slots)? I posted a thread on your official MP forums but those type of threads don't seem to get responses from CA.

    These two things would solve all of my problems with the game. That is unless you can get people to stop bringing lame cheesy armies.

    When are you going to fix the DX11 freeze bug that prevents AMD 7XXX series card owners from being able to play the game?
