It'd be pretty cool if a political party got voted into power on the premise of revealing all government information on extraterrestrials. Pretty sure that an announcement like this would still be the outcome in any situation though.

Well, at least in that documentary they came close to insinuating that Jimmy Hoffa disappeared because of the Aliens, and that was even before History Channel became officially a channel meant for nutjobs, so I can see a relation between Jimmy Hoffa and extraterrestrial life.

Don't expect the US government to disclose this sort of information via an on-line petition.
The day will eventually come when someone within the US government discloses said information.
Also, a better petition would be to ask for a public release of the governments and witnesses accounts and documentation leading up to and on the day of the Roswell Crash/Incident.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but do you honestly think the US government would just tell us if they contacted aliens/aliens contacted us/they find alien life with a probe or something?
