Default Computer specifications enough to play this wonderful mod

    Hi
I have noticed that LME is much heavier for my PC than vanilla, which I played in all high graphic settings without problems. Now I have problems with computer speed playing LME, especially in battles during rain. What is your computer specification and which settings do you use? My computer : Windows XP SP 3, Pentium IV 3.4 Ghz, 2 GB RAM (DDR 2), Nvidia GeForce 240 GT (1GB). What should I change/buy in your opinion? Thanks for all answers.

Your PC is fine, it just needs some tweaks:

Firstly, add this mod to your ntw/data folder (pick version 7b): (it adjusts the renders to improve performance without lessening the look)

Then add these two mods to remove the rain (add to your script) and the dust (just put in data folder) to stop it ruining your FPS (you'll still have nice winter battles).

You can also do this for a further boost:
    Open your preference.script (C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts if your using XP)

Go to the line 'gfx_frame_rate (number is here)', and set the value to 0.
Go to 'gfx_video_memory (number is here)' and change the number to 1073741824 (this makes sure your machine uses the full gig of your gfx card).
    Turn off V sync!
    Turn off shadows
    Turn off AA
Grass, sky, trees, water on medium or high

Set the 'campaign_unit_multiplier (number here)' to around 0.75 or 0.80

You will be able to keep unit, ship and effects quality at ultra settings.

    Optional:
You could also get another 1 or 2 gigs of ram for cheap on ebay or amazon for another boost to performance.

Honostly, my computer is 5 yers old lap top, it costed 500 €, and i can play games like Battlefield 3 with good graphigs.. Its one of the worst computers compared with anyone of my friends (hwo ain`t billionaries also) and then i saw someone asking "can my computer run it?" No offense mate, its just funny when old lap-top beats most of other computers easily.. Seriouselly, computers are cheap, so buy good ones that last over 5 yers, not crappy ones that you get with 4 euros, or if you have old cmp, BUy NEW ONE!

    TRR
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer

I dont think that my PC is so old that I must buy new one. My question regards graphic settings, eventually small PC upgrade (new processor, RAM) that makes game running faster without large decrease of graphic settings. Thanks to CrayonVonCaesar advices LME works fine on high settings now.
