    Because they lived in a climate where you could get away with wearing at most a pair of sandals most of the year.

    they use all the loan to bought those shiny bronze cuirass, so it partially solve why they are soo cheap for all their armour

    no,the german tribes,gave the greeks money to buy shoes,but the greek governors spend the money on their own
