    errr....dunno mate ...there are late units in this game though yes....my focus has been on making the battles visualy and playably good

    yes indeed ...SHREDDER and his team made a real unique mod ..unlike anything else on the rome engine...cant wait to see oim version on mtw2

    ok dude,you have convinced me.
    I'm a really old fan of this mod,and when I reinstalled my rome again 2 days ago,I came here to download this good old mod and I saw this. Finally I convinced myself to give it a try.
    Hope that you have improved battles, and that they don't last 2 minutes again (even if they were kinda epic).

    Well,it actually was.

    The stats are finally nice. Now melee count something in this game and the new units are very good,they actually fill some rosters that were kind limited back in the original mod. Muskets are balanced with the rest of the weapons. Later,I'll try the campaign.

    But there are two things that you need to improve:
    The factions and units texts (names,descriptions ecc.) and those annoying ENB.
    I used to play with the awesome spanish translation by Archaeopterix (Even if I am not spanish ),and maybe it's that why I complain about texts. Your texts are not fine...or immersive for a mod like this. I know that you had to translate everything,I really appriciate you huge work,but for the future versions you could try to contact Archaeopterix and maybe working together on an english version of his beatiful enhancement.

    yep unit and building descriptions are on the agenda for the next patch + lots more ...its building blocks my main aim so far was to make the battles a challenge and to make the mod stable , iv got lots more plans for this , thanks for the feedback and enjoy

    Glad to hear that.
    If I may,I want you to suggest to keep the units name in the original language,like Archaeopterix did. It adds a lot of immersion.

    Edit:
    I've noticed that Venice can't recruit any infantryman but the militia halberdiers. I can't recruit any regional troops either (I remember that balkan/turkish troops were avaible for Venice).
    Is this intended?

    i tryed play in this mod in windows 7 64bit
    but after first logo started i going back to desktop

    this mod not working in win 7?

    sorry.... i play on xp so i do not know but im pretty sure some players are playing on win 7 so it may be an instalation problem.....im sure someone will come along and verify the matter

    Greetings! Works fine on 7 64 bit Ultimate, at least for me! Have been playing for several days without any problem (just a classic crash when scrolling very fast in the start of the battle, that's from Alexander).
    Now for some questions:
    Why is the trait of Loyalty is so low for the Zaporozhians Cossacks, my faction heir deserted in my second turn in a campaign M/M dificulty?
    How can you recruit the Kharakterniki and the Sichevoy Ded in the campaign, some event, special building, just one region...
    Is it possible for showing the border lines in campaign map, and the banners in the cities?
    I want to thank you very much Granto for your great effort in reviving this excelent mod! Keep improving this mod to another level!

    hi glad your liking it.for your questions
    1.dont know ,its from the original {unchanged by me}i think{oim 1.3}
    2.yes possibly linked to a later building{cant think which one}but some one might come on and say
    3.banners and borders were removed to increase challenge,, they can be put back but then the strat map just becomes an easy ride because you can see ai arrm strengths and rollercoaster too fast
    good to hear it works on win 7,cheers, i will keep at it , hope to get better english unit/building descriptions done next

    not modfoldered....easy way is to make a copy of your vannila rtw/bi whole folder and use that for oim

    hi , you should give it a try, as for you questions a:no it is not finished,but it is very much campaign playable , still have a lot of text description work to do and new {late}units to add + other things like long term campaign recruitment for ai ....b:there are cuirassiers and reiter units in game , give it a go you will not be disapointed im sure , remember it is not mod foldered {yet , i am working on an alexander mod foldered version} enjoy
