Thread: Installation on Steam

    Default Installation on Steam

Well, I tried installing CCM2 for a few days now, but no matter what I did, the installer simply doesn't detect my Steam-issue M2TW version. It's a Win 7 64-bit system and Steam is installed on drive D: instead of C:. I've already tried some of the tricks here, like creating a fake folder with a copied kingdoms.exe, but the installer still tells me he can't find Kingdoms and shuts down.

Follow the installation instructions to install the Retrofit Mod, then use the link to install the steam installer and follow the instructions in the link to get the mod working through steam.

    Just one problem there:

    2. Install your brand new mod, but make sure to change your install directory as follows:
That's where the problem lies. I can't even install CCM2 or Retrofit into my mods folder as the installation app simply shuts down telling me that it can't detect M2TW.
