In export_descr_units in the mount_effect line. Does that line take effect if the unit isn't mounted. Can it be used to give a unit with a spear a bonus against mounted units without incurring the penalty to fighting infantry?
For the standard bearer, is the flag part of the skeleton or the model. If I put fs_hc_swordsman for the skeleton and the usual model, will it give me a mounted standard_bearer?

And this question isn't about text edits but I need help on it anyways. How do I make
"-show_err" and "-movie_cam" work. Everytime I put it in the directory line in the properties menu for the shortcut on the desktop it says its an invalid directory. It doesn't even let me leave the properties menu.

Here are the answers

1. The mount_effect line states the bonus or penalty that unit has versus the *mount* class or type listed.

2. The standard of the standard bearer is fixed as part of the skeleton and so when you mount a standard bearer he will continue to hold the standard at an awkward angle. There are modder releases that overcome this by creating a new skeleton/animation.

3. It sounds like you are typing it in the wrong field. It goes in the "target" and not in the "start in" box. Here's the form as an example enabling the show error, windows mode and battlemap editor:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\YourFolder\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -ne -enable_editor

Thanks for the answers to the first tow questions. Do you have any idea where I can download a mounted standard bearer skeleton?

And about the "-show_err" and such. Does there have to be a space between the quotation mark and the "-". If so then I know what I'm doing wrong. So thanks for that too.

Yes there does need to be a space.
