Japan was like "Hey, Mongols. We're just gonna blow you off (twice), okay? Have fun on the main continent." Were it not for that Divine Wind, however, who knows what Japan would look like today. Cool article.

Nice link. I never realised that "They concluded that Japan was protected from invasion by a divine wind, or Kamikaze, which was invoked in World War II to inspire pilots to launch suicide attacks on allied ships." came from failed Mongol invasions.

Thanks for the rep! Im happy my first rep is from an informative post was half expecting this to get moved somewhere as well.
Mongol invasion or no, after RotS im genuinely excited to see what CA will come up with next regarding Shogun 2.
