you can check it every hour, it wont take any faster. In my opinion the release will be not fast, year or two, not faster.

It's nearing the end of June, so I thought I might ask...has this statement held up? Are you guys in closed beta yet?

Speaking as someone who's a sort of "semi-detached" member of the DOTS team, they're quite close now. There are just a number of small, fiddly tasks to get through first. Things like adding PSFs to areas that are lacking, and populating cities and provinces with buildings and garrisons. I'm sure a full time DOTS member will be able to add a bit more precision to my statement.

As a full-time DotS member I can say that the beta-testing haven't started yet. There are some problems and missings wich we have to correct before the mod will be playable.

Dominion of the Sword - Magyar Department - Coordinator, PSF research leader
The Great Conflicts - Magyar tribes researcher
Heiğinn Veğr: Total War- Magyar tribes and Kingdom of Hungary researcher

As another full-time DotS member I can say: quit loitering around on the forums and get back to work!!!!

As someone else, I just want to say that what Hross meant when he said 'testing' is certainly under way. Though 'beta-testing' might not cover what's happening.

Quite. It's more a case of alpha testing.
We have done about 95% of each of the following:
    the tech tree
all the start date family trees and characters
    all the map done
all the 500 new units assigned to the trees
all the hundreds of brand new titles added
working additions of scripts and features
1.7GBs (over 500 tracks) of new music
    1.7 GBs of cinematics

By hundreds, that's well over 400 titles alone, and not including the over 1200 historical ancillaries.

Hungary has 64 titles now. And that's not a final number.
