[Guide] EMPIRE TOTAL WAR AND NAPOLEON TOTAL WAR WORKS ON MAC!!!

Hello all,
This is a guide on how to get empire total war to work on a mac.
**For Napoleon total war to work properly you must have OSX lion installed on your mac. Lion will also make Empire total war run faster.**
**Make sure you have at least 30 gbs avaible on your mac for empire and napoleon total war!!!**

Empire Total War Guide:
Go to this link

Where it says " Download the wrapper here..., and follow the instructions of the video" click on here and downlaod that wrapper and put it on your desktop. The wrapper is wine and it's steam.

Once you buy it on gamersgate on the left click on my shelf then click games, then click on empire total war gold and on the right hand side write down the code. Do not click download, just write down the code under download. Now open the empire total war wrapper, then create a steam account. Once you have created a steam account and you are logged in on the empire total war wrapper on the bottom left hand corner click "ADD A GAME". After you click that a little scroll thing should come up above and click "Activate A product on Steam". No go get that code I told you to write down earlier and enter it in. A download should start for Empire Total War. It takes between 1-4 hours. It took me 1hour and 23 minutes. It will be about 18.5GBS aswell so make sure you have memory. Once thats downloaded go to the top and click games, then click view games library, then play Empire Total War!!

Napoleon Total War:
You already bought a code for this because you bought the Napoleon total war Imperial edition on gamersgate.
On gamersgate go to my shelf, games, then click Napoleon total war. On the right hand side write down that code.

To download the wrapper find where it says "Download the wrapper here..., and follow the instructions of the video." and click here and download it and put it on your desktop.
Now follow the same instructions as you did on the empire total war download and it will work!!

Hi, I am just wondering if this is still working... is there anyone who is playing ETW on mac here? seems no one cares about this... but i am using a mac, and would like to get ETW on mac without bootcamp... thanks

It won't install without bootcamp and I won't bet it will play on a Mac.

I have a mac and I was able to play Medieval 2 Total War with his wrapper and wine. So far it works great except that multiplayer doesn't work. Anyways I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do with my steam account and the wrapper. Do I need the windows version of steam or is mac version fine?
