Since that whole 'Faction leader' and 'Heir' thing doesn't work for SPQR (its probably hard-coded that all the factions have them) I was wondering if the team is planning on doing something different in EB2 than what they did in EB1?
I for one wouldn't mind if the designated 'faction leader' and 'heir' for Rome made no difference and we could just ignore those titles those 2 generals have.
After all, In Medieval 2 the faction leader isn't really any different from the other family members, except the title and immunity from bribery. But who the faction leader is is largely irrelevant, correct?
Same goes for Carthage. And Koinon Hellenon is an alliance of City states, so a 'faction leader and heir' doesn't really work for them either.
Except for of coarse if the Roman Republic becomes the Roman Empire, than the Heir and faction leader thing would work.
