From the hills behind the gate, Britons see a single knight appear. He rides to meet with Arthur. When he reaches him a large mass of Teutons come over the foggy hills.

    We are ready, kaiser.

OOC: Thank you alot man , but i think you either mean gates are brocken or men have reached the walls, they havn't got sige weapons that can break walls.

The charging hordes could be heard from the castle and the men stood there ground firm.

    "For hounor!"

    "For the King!"

    "For Londinum!"

    "For God!"

Chants were being called out to raise spirits. The archers were not used to wars and were not very well trained, but they seemed to be getting very good shots on the light/spearmen Units. The altilerry also seemed to be getting very good shots. Harold screamed warsong to keep the mens spirits up, the air was tence as they wait for the Britons to arive at the wall. *BANG* The britons hit there weapons against the gates.

    "Realse the molten lead!"

Britons were heard roaring with pain as the lead hit them. The archers continued to do a great job of holdig of the walls. As the laders came in the Frydmen started lunging there spears at the Britons. The Britons were tacticly good but due to a few spectacular moves by troops the britons were imoblised.

    (Hours later)

The men cheer, the battle looks in there favour. The men are over the moon and sing songs of praise as they battle. There was absoulute brotherly feeling in the air as if they were all family.

"To victory my men!" (Harold II)

Then the bastards teutons made some exxlent moves tipping the balance and now the battle was getting dangerous..

    (In a rush writeing this)

Okay, so I didn't get to send my orders, and if I had then my casualities would be all Foederati and Litemanei, but whatever.

Longbowmen hold back and fire onto the walls. The Foederati and Litemanei attack the walls, and all the knights charge into the gap, along with cooki's knights and Legio I's Legionarii.

Hochmeister Sibrand sits back watching the Britons getting smashed on the siege..He shakes his head in disgust as Britons are slaughtered at the opened gate. and looks at his captain.

Wenn wir uns zurücklehnen nicht mehr Arthur's Männer zerstört werden wird. Bestellen Sie ihr fußvolk, warf das Tor; der Siebenbürger Sachsen nicht stand.
(If we sit back any longer Arthur's men will be destroyed. Order your footmen to charge threw the gate; the Saxons won't stand at all.)

Ja sir. Wir werden dahinter folgen!
(Yes sir. We will follow close behind)

Germanen dies ist ihr tag zu beweisen, Gott, dann sind sie wahre Helden von Christus. Sachsen sind die häretiker, so töten alle in ihrer Weise. Die Briten Zeigen wie es gemacht wird. Kostenfrei! Für Gott will es!
(Teutons this is your day to prove to God that you are true warriors of Christ. Saxons are heretics, thus kill all in your way. Show these Britons how it is done. Charge! For God wills it!)

Some of the fleeing Britons see a large black hoard charging at them: they are trampled by the Teuton horses and dismounted Knights as they all scream in German. The Hochmeister leads in the front of the Ritterbruder and smashes into the open gate. Saxons go flying into the air as the crusader steel pushes them back. Saxons flee back further into the city in order to ready themselves better. Knights on foot climb over the walls and take them quickly near the gate by slashing down the enemies. Sibrand looks up to the walls..a Teuton flag is flying and he sees Saxons fleeing further into the city, but he knows the battle is far from over.

OOC: Just so we are clear you have only taken the gate at two towers between gate. Also next turn the vikings will arive as 1. victory for Saxons is impossible otherwise unless you have really luck. 2. I should have been there long before 3. 2 rounds should have been a victory if it wasn't for aggys bad first roll which gives them a chance.

Harold Godwinson orders all Hearthmen (heavy infantry, elite)
and all Housecarls (heavy infantry, professional) to attack Teutons. All Fyrdmen (spearmen, soldier) remain on the walls as defence and archers and altillery fire at the Britons Thegns (heavy infantry, soldier) will run to zones that need aid.

Chants continue as there spirits were very high.

The Hochmiester sees the enemy heavy infantry moving up. He orders his dismounted knights to counter charge while his knights attack from the flanks. A small amount of men will take the walls.

OOC: You will be extremly outnumbered so britons will have to back you up if you send 'a small amount' of men to take a wall with 14,000 men on it + 15,000 ready to aid. Also could Dark storm roll again roll. I'm getting restless

    1. No, it's off the remains, you'll ahve to recalculate unfortunately.
    2. ALL MILITARY MOVEMENTS IN THE REGION ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL THEW BATTLE IS OVER!!!!!!!!! THAT IS FINAL!!!!!!!!!
    3. Yes, I have the right to post in mod red.
    4. After you recalculate, we basically send all my infantry and cavalry charging toward the center of the city, while the longbowmen (who, btw, shouldn't be taking any casualties due to being way far away from the fighting and just shooting) continue to fire at the walls.

Oh, and Dark Storn, you don't take 25% of each unit, it's the total number*25%=casualties, which you then spread logically across the army.

That seems a like a genuinely bad system - it doesn't take unit qualities into account at all.

I thought it would be 25% of the starting number, which i spread around as fairly as possible
