On the subject of the member "Tony 83"

After a protracted and detailed investigation we have to inform the members about the following:

• The member "Tony83" posted pictures of another person claiming the images as his own. We have evidence that the person in the images is in no way associated with the user of the "Tony83" account. We are certain about the identity of the person in the photos and fairly confident about the true identity of "Tony83".
• The user behind the Tony83 account has victimized some TWC members who shared images with him by posting their pictures, without their consent or knowledge, on other sites; some of which were pornography sites.
• We are still investigating this case and we will consider further action if we feel it is necessary. If any member has exchanged pictures with that user please contact any administrator by PM and we may be able to assist at their removal.
• We have no reason to believe that the member using the Tony83 account is deceased.

We understand that internet anonymity offers people the chance to assume a persona which may differ from reality. However, that anonymity does not excuse the user of the Tony83 account from deceitfully exploiting others. His malicious behavior has forced us to make this announcement in order to protect the TWC membership and the site.

If he did post pictures of members on pornography sites, which is quite a serious matter, then he should be IP banned and discredited...thoughts from the HeX?

Because there is no reason to believe he is dead and there are extremely strong indications to the contrary. When these indications reach the required level of certainty we will state so. As I said the investigation is ongoing.
