I wouldn't recommend the 460 as well, price/performance is just awful. Either get the 470 GTX or the 560 Ti (with the slightly higher Core clock, but @ the same price according newegg.com) though I'd stick with the Ti right away.
Not quite sure, but the GTX470 won't be shipped anymore, but it's roughly the same performance as the stock 560 Ti (822 Core clock) while the 460 is like ~15% slower (reference: 3DMark Dx11 & other DX11 games)

Uhm, my only price chart for non-Euro stuff () is newegg.com (the user comments are also helpful). And if I'd order there I'd pay $244 incl. shipping, was getting some sort of saving too; that negated the 1-year full-service, where your card would be replaced without additional costs.

If you wanna take a look at (and I can post such a link here...else it will be deleted I highly guess)

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=1&PageSize=20

Should be either the 2nd or 3rd card (2nd is 'slightly' more OC'ed). Else I don't know where you usually order...

Arg, sorry, didn't know that (only USA), so you have nearly the same problem - I'm stuck to European delivery most of the time, and that's like ~$300 too and if bought locally even more

Maybe there are are others - who are reading this - and can recommend some international stuff ^.^?

6850 will have less performance. I'd suggest either the gtx 560 ti or the amd radeon hd 6950. Both the best price/performance atm.

It is yeah, you can compare and watch benchmarks here:
    http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU11/188

I'd recommend a 6950 or 560 ti if you want to save yourself money in the future though (it'll give you more performance now, and it'll take longer untill you need to upgrade)

    depends on whats cheaper

6950 2gb for the right price is the best bet

ive seen Shogun 2 eat up to 3800mb of VRAM using all 2048mb of my gpus and spilling over to system memory for a dynamic memory

but 560 Ti or 6950 2gb whatever is the best price if its within $10-20 get the 6950 2gb

stuff like AMD 6950 costs 300$ for me here in Israel... not to mention I find it much cheaper at US ebay or some times UK ebay...(no Global)
    so it's a bit of a problem
and anyways will it really matter if I'd buy AMD 6850? I mean it's not like it won't run stuff like shogun at the high settings right? cause if is'nt something that won't(and if it is running it on high) I won't matter too much about the savin' of the money for next 2 years... buyin' AMD 6850 would be kinda big upgrade considering my old GPU anyways.

but still let me know If I'm wrong with something....

or a 6950 with a custom cooler like the toxic...

    what is your resolution op?

rem newer card can be bottlenecked by old cpu...depending on your res sometimes a gpu isnt much of an upgrade more or a sidegrade if you catch my drift..

If the 6850 is the only logical solution for you in Israel, then I would certainly go with that.

Ive shipped used PC components to Australia and New Zealand very recently, and the amount they are to pay even for used parts is staggering due to the insane markup in some parts of the world. They cannot really be choosy.

I might continue to look on ebay. You can get a 6850 for $130, and shipping should be $20-30 for US postal service flat rate box. But most people don't want to ship overseas for some reason. I have no problems with it. There is actually a tracking number on the customs form.

mostly ppl dont like shipping overseas because in many cases the overseas buyer used paypal etc they claim they didnt recieve the part paypal gives a refund and the person who sold the part lost it

in many causes the scammer gets there money back and they get the part in question, its shady and ive seen it happen to many good traders from various tech forums, to the point most wont ship outside there regions.

I understand that. But priority international offers a little known tracking option on the customs slip. Works just like delivery confirmation, which is the cornerstone of ebay's buyer protection.
