I want improved quests. I hate doing them now. Mostly because I do most of the work and then unforeseen kicks me in the face. I would like the opportunity for things to not be all or nothing deals.

Mount and Blade is the damnedest game. It pulls me in for hours on end with it's archery physics and horse combat and arrow-riddled seiges, and I'll loose several weeks of life, then realize all I've done is ride my little pony around a map, sell loot, and charge up and down castle ramps, eventually biting off more than I can chew and becoming a prisoner, only to escape, sans my pony and walk around the map then be out over run by bandits and have no choice but fight them or surrender, until eventually I'm down to wandering around the world in my shreddies with maybe 4 points of health.

I'll stop playing for a month or two, get addicted again, be reduced to ragged nickers and stop again.

Ad nauseum.

Anybody else go through this?

Also, there'd better be a huge difference in the next release. I bought M&B when it was still in dev phase and it was just a dude or two and they promised early buyers constant free upgrades on new releases.
All the M&B incarnations are just too similary, with actually the older game having some better animations, imho.
