Requesting a step by step

Hello fellows.

Would anyone be so kind as to post a step by step instruction as to how to add a piece of music into the game?

Tried experimenting by myself with the PFM but couldn't get anything to work.

I've tried adding additional sound files for units, but they didn't work. I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure you would have to rename the sound file you wish to put into the game, as one of the existing sound files in the music folder, then 'replace' the file with the one you want.

sorry, to be more clear, i dont believe you can add entirely new sound files, with new filenames into the game simply by adding them into the database using pfm.

I have tried replacing existing music tracks with different MP3 files using the same name, but I can't get them to work.

this is a humble request to the users to please provide me resources from where i can learn perl regular expressions step by step and also some unix shell scripts regular expressions step by step.
