    Default RS2 Environment?

Has this been talked about? This mod is awesome, but vanilla landscapes feel very dull.

would be alot of work, more than the team could handle. On a brighter note, I prefer the rop units. The cartoony Alexander expansion look suits the engine much better.

yeaa i do like the ROP units, but the battlefields in vanilla look soo depressingly boring lol. Ehh but if it's too much then it is no problem, I was really just wondering if anyone has thought of this. But hey thanks for the reply!

No it wouldn't. It's 10 minutes of work.

Hence why we've already done it in our beta

Don't add RS2 engine, you will lose alot support. Not all have so good PC's.

Or if you do.. give option to disable it.

    This is most likely.

If its that easy, can we please release an RSII terrain mod for the current version? I am very eager to play but after playing RSII for some time now, I can't stand the barren RTW vanilla landscapes anymore. Or, conversely, will the new one made by Toon for Hegemonia work for ROP as well (Sorry, I don't know much about terrain modding)?

Any chance of seeing some new buldings in ROP 3? After seeing the beautiful greek cities in Hegemopnia, I was hoping that new ROP would have some similar features, especially for Babylon, the major Kemet cities, and the Greek Cities which truly deserves some special visual treatment.

I am sorry, but unless someone willing to do that comes around, the answer is no. We just don't have the resources for it and it's not a priority. We'd rather release a well-polished mod with cool features than in unstable one with buggy new cities. None of that is related to Heg, btw. It's just the scenario that would arise should we focus ourselves on things like that.

I've probably got the files around here, so I'll try to implement it in my RoP2 version and if that works I'll release the files for you here

I understand completely. Just curious. If the bandwidth was there, it would have been nice. Especially for the city of Babylon which has always felt a bit unrealistic with vanilla RTW architecture.
