Ask in the. RTR fourms
Then you could at least help the fellow out, not just waste good space that others could have used productively.
Here we go: Rome: Total Realism
Or: RTR VII Download Mirrors and Installation Guide
Or here: Important information - Everything you want to know!
Moved to RTW Tech Help.
I was wondering if anyone knew any mods that work on rome total war for the mac. If so how do I install them?
Thanks!!
Hi I just saw this mod works with mac. I was wondering how to install it. The only one I could download was the .86 because that one had the only link that work. I am also running on osx lion. So, how do I install this mod on my mac?
Thanks.
Hello!
I know that my friend downloaded and played Europa barbarorum from the main website (europabarbarorum.com) and it works pretty well!
"You know, Rick, I have many a friend in Casablanca, but somehow, just because you despise me, you are the only one I trust" - Peter Lorre, Casablanca
Yes, EB is the only mod I know being developed for Mac also:
http://www.europabarbarorum.com/downloads_mod.html
EB is great, a bit tricky to get it going on a mac and I've also been having phalanx issues (phalanx on phalanx won't engage). Other than that it's playable.
Roma Vicit is being developed for Mac http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1790
lol I know roma vicit is being for mac now because I am on their development team.
Then y u no play that?
RTR is also available as a mac-version (dmg). In theory, you should be able to run every mod which comes as a RAR-version. I also was able to play Rise of Persia and IBVGR on my mac, they're both working fine without any problems. As they come as EXE-files, installations is, of course, a big problem for a mac. I solved it by installing the mods on a windows pc, then dragging the folders to my macbook via USB-stick.
There's also a software called wineskin(http://sourceforge.net/projects/wineskin/) which could be very helpful for bringing mods to mac, but I haven't tried it yet.
Hope, this helped a little.

Hello,
I am wondering how to install mods manually on a mac. I already have made a new read/write image and replaced the read one. But how do I manually install mods into the RTW folder now?
Thanks!!
Hello,
I am wondering how to install mods like the mac version of RTR or Roma Vicit or eurpa barbaoum on a mac manually without a mod installer because the only mac mad installer doesn't work for me.
Thanks!!
Hi there.
Not wanting to sound rude, but it might be best if you asked this kind of questions in the respective RTR subforum Rome: Total Realism
Good luck
If you've already created a new read/write image, then there should be no problems. Just put the modfolders you want into your RTW image, start the game, go for "Advanced", activate "advanced options" and enter the name of the mod you have put into your image like this: "-mod:Modname" ("Modname" is, of course, a placeholder for the name of the modfolder"). If you've downloaded the mac version of a mod, then simply mount the dmg-image.
For further informations, ask me or this guy:http://www.hs.facebook.com/topic.php...=141#topic_top
Is there a .dmg of RTR VII kicking around?
Did the Feral port ever happen?
Pretty much every mod works you just need to manually install the ones I have not done for you. Modding is a community thing so go for it.
The mods I have done can be found at http://downloads.feralinteractive.com/mods/rome/
The Mac version of Rome is the final PC patch.
does roma surectum 2 work on map?
