That awful pass made it look far worse than it was from Mcgee's point of view

The Mavs made it a bit of a nail-biter towards the end of the game tonight but Dirk, having an off night, showed up in the clutch and helped beat the Knicks. Tyson Chandler finally got his ring and was given a standing ovation both before and after the game. The Mavs have not had a good line after the All-Star break. They lost 4 of 5, including against the West's worst team, the Hornets, and the league's 2nd best team, the Thunder. At the end of games, contrary to their repeated incredible performances last year, especially in the playoffs, they have seemed aimless, unsure, and lack execution when it matters in crunch time. Thankfully, tonight that poor execution at the end of the game was not there and Dirk hit some riDirkulous shots. I also noticed only after the game was over that I didn't notice Carmelo being in the game. He played but just wasn't there.

When Dirk hit a dagger over Stoudemire, he went walking with swagger back to the Mavs bench (because the Knicks called a timeout) and a kid held his hand out for a low five. Dirk made a full swing at the kid's hand and the local FSSW station showed the kid after laughing about how much it stung him. I was laughing my ass off. I wonder if that kid will wash that hand ever again.

I'm going to have to say that the Bobcats are the worst team.

Doesn't that make Orlando the worst team, since they lost to them?

Orlando is a 3 point shooting team. They can be the best(Top 5 NBA) or the worst team(Cellar 5) on any given night. I don't think I could say that about any other team.

Well I'm going to the Timberwolves game tonight, and I'm sitting two rows right behind the Wolves bench.

On Sunday, the Lakers beat the Heat. Since then they've lost to the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards.

    Uhuh.

The Celtics beat the Bulls.. and lose by 30 to Philly. YUP.
Clippers losing to Nets. Yeah okay.
    Phoenix beating OKC? Fine.

WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.

Well that Wolves game was pretty fun to go to. Our whole team was hitting threes and we slowed there offense down in the second half.

I would be angry that the Clippers lose to a Farmar 3 after a great 18 point comeback but Lakers losing to Pistons and Wizards after being up big in both of those games....... Its the NBA even decent/good teams lose.

    Congrats Juke on the game!

Bulls fans are so spoiled. We go into every game expecting to win. Back to back, triple back to back, doesn't matter. Every game has to be a win because we're the Chicago Bulls.

We had no business winning that game today, we played like crap and Ilyasova was AMAZING. But Derrick Rose with the ice cold step back fade away J in Brandon Jennings face.

I know slavery is illegal but Derrick owns Jennings.

I can swallow loses where both teams play solid ball, especially after a long stretch, even at home. This game shouldnt have played out like it had if the Bulls had played anything resembling team defense, tired or not.

And this last home stretch, etc, offers more insight into Boozer. He is incapable of doing anything when his offense isn't there. If he isn't involved on that end, he wont even try on the other. Just a total slump. Like a baseball player who lets his hitting woes carry over to the field. Except this is basketball...

Bucks without Bogut have no business being in position to beat the 1st/2nd best team in the NBA.

    But it happens.

I think the Bulls are that good because they get up for every game, the Heat game today..... sometimes they play so sloppy and without intensity its sad. No Joe Johnson or Horford? 30 point game, or at least double digits in the 4th.

Wade scored or assisted on all of the Heat's last 10 points. LeBron did not attempt a single shot in that period.

    Rose 28-8-11.

...and the heat still won. doesn't matter when he scored, he still helped his team win. whereas rose shot 8-22 and the bulls needed a buzzer beater just to beat the freaking bucks. LeBron had the better game, he played so well that the heat didn't need a buzzer beater to win, they just needed to maintain production.

Wade passed to Haslem to hit the same wide open shot LBJ passed the other night and he made it.

Stupid LBJ be better like Wade.

Another thing I could go without hearing Kobe shot count. Win or lose its always a topic.
That and LBJ 4th Q, or if does good in the 4th than the final 2 min, if he still does well then who took the last shot and why wasn't it him. Then if they won or lost.

Media and Herlots Always Taking Everything Really Scummy talk about something else 99% the Heat and Lakers play.

Thoughts on who the top 5 for MVP are?

    1.LBJ
    2.Durant
    3.Parker
    4.Love
    5.Rose/CP3/Kobe?

After Manu goes down Parker ends up having one of his best years(2nd best) leading the Spurs the #2 team in the West. Best player on a 8 seed team........

Its that Howard/Rose thing from last year.
