Resignation

This is just to announce my resignation, effective immediately. This is unrelated to Seleukos' resignation, and unrelated to LV's appointment. It's just that my interest over the past few months has been declining. I don't think I've actually read through forums outside of staff/Curia/CP since January at least; about three weeks ago I made a(n anonymous) poll of Hex asking if I should resign since I didn't do any moderation, but the suggestion was unanimously turned down. But now I'm not even interested in keeping up with policy, so here I go.

I had intended to stay on until a replacement was appointed, but a) there's not really any point in my having the title if I don't do any of the work, b) I wasn't willing to start going to policy forums again, even for a few days, and c) I'm not going to be able to get on TWC until Saturday night, by which time I'm sure a successor will be picked out anyway. So my resignation is effective immediately, having been announced in the Hex forum four days ago.

I may be back, eventually (especially if I get interested in M2TW). Or, then again, I may not. We'll see. But for now, I'm not really interested in either TW or CC, so I'm not going to be here much. I will answer PMs indefinitely, if you feel the need to contact me, as well as e-mails.

Damn Sim. I will miss you. I saw the signs. I missed you during our disagreement, I was happy when we resolved it (read: I realized I was going completely insane and ruining a friendship over very little). I always consider you critical to the Syntagma process, and your policy input in staff is unmatched. Your retirement is deeply saddening.

It's sad to see you leave staff Simetrical , but goodluck. I hope to see you around often and surely to see you as part of the staff again sometime soon. :wink: You've done a great deal of service for TWC.
