I wish the rest of us didn't have to wait another 3 days - it makes the wait so much harder knowing north america gets to play it already.

Got that right, I'm sitting here trying to avoid the main ME3 thread and any and all ME3 videos like the plague.

There are legal, or at the very least tolerated, ways to play the game already...
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

I like them when they're standing around on their own, but as part of a series, it stands out too much in my collection by not looking like a ME game at first glance.
-Complete Soundtrack download in WAV (742MB)
Youtube. And if that doesn't work, I can record it in-game just as well...
    -N7 velcro patch
Are you actually going to use that? If yes, good luck re-using it if you ever want it on some different piece of clothes.
-4 exclusive N7 DLC weapons (pistol, shotgun, sniper, SMG)
-Complete squad alternate outfit DLC pack
Let's see if these will actually remain exclusive. The thing with "exclusive" is that they tend to only remain that way for a limited time, lately.
    -Robotic dog DLC sidekick
It's taking up space and making you stumble over it all over the place. And it probably also annoys you with making sounds and stuff.
    And
it can't beat a space hamster...
-From ashes DLC mission (567MB) ($9.99 value)
Available for everyone for the exact same price.
All for $20 over the regular edition.... can't really go wrong.
It's 30€ more over here, so noticeably more expensive.
The comic and artbook might be something, but they alone aren't worth the price increase.

In turn, the standard edition preorder gives me the N7 Warfare set and the Argus rifle someone mentioned above. Given that there will supposedly be all the weapons, armour etc. from ME2 around in ME3 again, I think I can manage not getting 4 guns. Anyway, that's the way I see it, feel free to see it differently.

On the slipbox you have in large font only one thing. "N7" and on the steelbook you have a full size image of Commander Shepard. If neither of those look like Mass Effect to you at first glance then you are definitely a reaper.

You can't get the OST in WAV format off youtube nor the game's audio files even if you convert the OGGs to any format of your choice. Some ppl don't care... I do.

??????? In the collector's edition it's free.... So if you planned on paying for that DLC then there is no reason in the world not to get the collector's edition. Heck if you don't care about some of the items they can be sold on ebay for a fair profit.

Just like the previous two games, the soundtrack is available in easily converted, .afc files, for free, in the game's directory.

I seen that on the Origin ME3 troubleshooting page, they said that "may" happen. Dunno what they changed that made em' not transfer.

I know that as I said above. In fact, I pulled the music files from ME1 and 2 and made a complete custom chronological 2.5 hours soundtrack compilation for ME1. The ME2 stuff was pretty much covered in the multiple release via MP3 format so I don't think I'll compile that one, it takes so much time.

But these WAV files are the lossless stuff (1,400+ kbps). And those songs have been compiled rather than a bunch of separate fragmented bits with multiple similar chunks of audio. Remember the bitrate on the game files are only around 170 kbps (varies).
