    finally !
this, however, goes more in TGC period than Tsardoms.
i intend to use screens from documentaries in mod as pictures of events and other stuff.

well we have to wait and see.
maybe someone puts it on internet.

the costumes look decent in some scenes, but not in all. budget issues probably.
but you have to have in mind that this is first serious documentary series of this type and about this period filmed in Croatia.
i hope everything will turn well. Those guys did a good documentaries about Romans a few years ago, so hoefully they will do good again.

    great!
we in serbia have croatian channels (so as bosnian). i'll be watching this
but one thing bothers me, as matko said, some costumes look decent, but not all. hate thing about balkans, it's always low budged historical shows, films etc. but, i don't think it's all about budget, but people who make costumes and actors. they should hire someone who can make cool stuff with little materials. so, costimographer is what actually needs to be perfect

anyways, glad to see some documentaries from balkan, and history. something we can share to others

I really hope that the BIH tv will also make such a kind of documentary. This looks awesome.

Avars for sure...I read somewhere that they will show us the Siege of Constantinopole 626.With such a low budget, I am wondering what we can aspect....as for equipment, it fifty-fiftyFor example: Borna´s cavalry and Trpimir´s guard (although some chain-mail would also be good) looks pretty fine, but army of Ljudevit is completely wrong, the "roman" shield with the dead Bulgarians is also not correct...and guys from Gvozd mountain are just a group of highlanders and nomadic-look warriors...I cant wait to see that documentary

From battles we shall see a Battle between Bulgars and Croats somewhere in Bosnia 926., Battle of Kupa 819., Siege of Bari 871., Battle of Gvozd 1094.

I wish Serbian " patriotism " would manifest itself more like making documentaries like this rather then Cheering in football .

Actuality it did ! Serbian national TV RTS made several documentaries about these periods !

Some of us misunderstood our place in the clash of currents, so they cried that we belong to neither side- and others that we belong exclusively to one side or the other. But I tell you, Irenaeus, we are doomed by fate to be the East in the West and the West in the East, to acknowledge only heavenly Jerusalem beyond us, and here on earth--no one." - St. Sava (of Serbia) to Irenaeus, 13th century

Unfortunately, we'll need to wait for a looong time to see History Channel style documentaries you have in mind here...

    Croatian Kings
That documentary is going to be really interesting, I think... Especially for us history freaks.

Ampra, did you see the other two documentaries that come along with "Kneževina Srbija" ("Kraljevina Srbija" and "Gde cveta limun žut" - this one is bringing a storm of emotions into every Serb's soul, I'd say...)? They're all great, even though they're low-budget projects.

I would have liked that too. Oh, boy, would I! But, state of the country in general being as it is, we need to adjust our expectations to reallity... Well, better times must come sometimes...

Here's a little something Belgrade authorities did:

    Cheers, people.

P.S. I hope you Croatian fellows don't mind the couple of us drifting the topic off of the course a bit.

Edit: the trailer for Croatian kings looks great.
