Default (Passed 50/5) Bill XXIV: Urbanis Moderation Flexibility Bill

    Urbanis Moderation Flexibility Bill
    Proposed by: the Black Prince
Supported by: Lucius Vorenus, Last Roman, Honor&Glory

the Urbanis Legio section of the Syntagma is amended to read

    Urbanis Legio
Urbanis Legio are considered the primary front line moderators of the TWC forums. As many as necessary are appointed to moderate any number of forums within the Common Community or Total War Community. They are drawn from the ranks of Civitates active in these local areas and can be appointed and removed as necessary by the Imperator. Any Civitate active in the specific forum can nominate themselves for the position offered by PMing the Imperator.

    Urbanis Legio Powers and Responsibilities
Urbanis Legio have the power only to moderate in a number of fora proscribed by the Senior Staff within either the Common Community or Total War Community. They are responsible for keeping order in those fora in line with moderation policy. The number of fora is limited to the size of whichever community they moderate in, though only the most senior of this rank would be called upon to have moderation duties similar to the Magistrates.

Voted against. IMHO a law dealing with the allocation of moderator responsibilities should not be put forward by the Curia without consulting with or openly receiving support from staff, which it has not.

From the pride and arrogance of the Romans nothing is sacred. But the vindictive gods are now at hand. On this spot we must either conquer, or die with glory (Boudiccas Speech, Tacitus, Annals, XIV, 35)

Proscribed? Look what happens when I'm not around to pick apart bills' wording. That means precisely the opposite of what was intended.

Terrible bill. Worth thing I have ever seen. This is the beginning of the end of the curia having true influence. I am glad I probably will not be around much as it happens.
