Random proposal - I think we should draw up a family tree for the TWC division of bronies: Branches would work like the Civitate patronage Houses of TWC, albeit with those who brought new bronies into the fold being the "patrons". An alternative would be to do the same except with Ponyfication instead of Bronyfication. I'd be prepared to send out a survey to you all and draw it up. So, interested?

I know at James has watched all the MLP seasons. I dunno what his view on their quality was.

G1- The TV specials are alright (I suggest watching them), the Movie is horrendous. The show, I haven't seen too much of the G1 show to make a judgment.
G1.5 (G2)- Alright, unlike G1, this one is slice of life instead of phantasy (except for that one with the alien ponies or whatever they were).
G3/G3.5- Almost legendarily bad.
G4 The best thing ever! (Its FIM)

Its funny, G3/G3.5 was just ending when FIM was starting to get made. But the differences are staggering.

I can not decide if i like this or not...

I like that, it would be neat if the ponies sported different hairstyles at times.
