Bloom Effect Addon

Here is a Bloom Effect mod that's creating a nice grapich effect on strategy map and battlefield. it gives more character, better lighting and overall enhances the experience in most battles.

this mod is originally been made by “Tone” i just made it work for RTRVII. works with RTW standard, BI, and Alexander. also fully save game compatible.

Now before you start using this addon there are a few thinks you need to know.

IMPORTANT READ:
1: when the game starts its says ENBSeries 0.0005 GTA VICE CITY. (THIS IS NORMAL)
2: it takes a little longer to load RTRVII. (ALSO NORMAL)
3: when using the launcher: if you hear the intro movie sound press "esc" if the movie doesn't start got to 4:
4: after a wile you get a black screen hearing game sound + green fades ( THIS IS YET AGAIN NORMAL)
5: if it stops fading (the green fades) use ALT+TAB ( you get back to your windows with the game running in control bar. or ctrl+alt+del if somehow your system doesn’t support this hot-key)
6: use ALT+TAB again to get back in the game. U will see the RTW bar loading and the game is good
go working with the addon.
7: reading text on the strategy map is to hard. U can turn the mod ON and OFF in game by using Shift+F9.

INSTALL:
1: Extract the Zip file
2: Install the Data map/d3d8.dll/ enbseries into your RTW root directory (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War


(so not the RTRVII folder)


UNINSTALL:
just delete all the files that are in this addon map. will not harm your game since this is an addon.

Can we get a heads up with the performance of the game when using this add on. Just want too know if you get alot of CTD's.

after creating. I’ve tested the addon with fraps. There are no frame rate drops nor does it give any CTD. This is because the add-on is standalone and there by cannot effect the game. See for your self. If you don’t like it just delete the files. It does not overwrite files it just adds files

no idea why it went dead. could be because it contains a .dll file and filefront want to make sure its oke.

but its back up for downloading again

yes it is. i'm looking into it to fix it but no succes yet. it's very easy to switch off by shift f9 wille you are @ the strategy map
