Re: RTR VII Download Mirrors and Installation Guide
Congratulations to the RTR VII team!
It's been a long time coming but it's finally here (just installing now!). I'm up to my neck in dissertation at the moment so I'll have to wait to start a grand campaign. But I'm going to have a bit of fun with custom battles.

10) How can I play RTR with Steam?
Run the FoE installer like normal, changing the install path to xxxx/steam/steamapps/common/rome total war gold
Ignore the launcher and short-cut prompts, they won't work
Open Steam, right-click on Rome: Total War Gold in the My Games menu
Select Properties
Under the General tab select Set launch options ...
Type in -mod:FOE -show_err -nm without quotations and click OK
Launch Rome: Total War Gold by double-clicking it in the My Games menu
Select Barbarian Invasion from the two-choice list and Launch.
Ive send my installation to my previous FoE ,read above .
I cannot run VII with the shortcup, failed to find steam, and wend i laucnh the game by steam ,i only get FOE
Should i try to uninstall FOE ?
Hm ,the select options where i had to write : -mod:FOE -show_err -nm,shouldnt we have some like VII ? Help ?

Yes, those instructions were written for FOE. Replace any reference to FOE with RTRVII and you should be OK.
Re: RTR VII Download Mirrors and Installation Guide
Sorry Im having issues with the installation. I use windows7 and am trying to install it to C: program files (x86), The Creative Assembly, Rome-Total War. It failed i then tried insatalling it to C: program files (x86), The Creative Assembly, Rome-Total War, BI. That also did not work I also do have BI updated to 1.6.
