    Default RS II Environment

Can we have RSII Environment working in this ? Think it would realy benefit the mod.

Edit: Here is a link for an RS2 environments pack for PI.

RS2 environments is not difficult for any MODS, if you use the main data of RTW how base... only care descr_climates, and some .db...

Did you get it working? Looks like you did. If not I can do it.

I have no guide but at Resef advice i am now well succeed in implementing RS2 environments.
Simplest way is having a enviro pack, say for example for Hegemonia. Then with notepad++ i check each text file from the pack looking for the "BI/HCS" entries and replacing them for "PI".
for the folders i move them to PI, with one exception.

    The exceptions are:

I don't move the world folder so i don't screw up the climates map and heights map of PI.
I may not move the descr_aerial_map_ground_types if i want to keep the same campaign map. I believe that if i change that file, it will change to RS2 textures also.

This is how i do RS2 Packs for any mod. If i want to do it from scratch with the multi-mod environment that the RS2 team gifted, it probably needs more editing.

Back up the Data the first time you going to try this.

Here, i made a pack for PI. Do you mind testing it ? If all is ok i'll link it on the first post.

Thanks for your advice Sertorio I am going to give it a try soon. It is good to know which files I should avoid to change becauce I do not want to change the strat map textures to RSII ones.

Ok, going to give it some play testing. Btw. I have noticed on your screens that you are playing with the normal unit size. Is it a recomended unit size for PI mod?
