I'll echo the sentiment that the wall needs work; there's a thread somewhere about putting the wall in the game, although I'm sure you've seen that and probably based this on it. As for the units, they're mostly excellent, although I'd suggest "scruffying" them up a bit. They look much like a professional army at the moment, with not enough variance between individual soldiers. A more rag-tag looking approach (like in the the recent mercenaries preview) could work well, where you had a few different models (all still in black, obviously) in each unit. I also thought the spearmen looked a bit "grand" in their fancy helmets. Oh, and a few different hair colours other than red would do wonders.
But these are small suggestions and (hopefully helpful) criticisms, of what on the whole is fantastic work. Great job.![]()
Be assured that we noted those issues ourselves. The faces used in the mod need a workover anyway, since most of them are vanilla ones or based on vanilla ones.
I guess we made the Night Watch look a bit too professional, but don`t forget that they had no shortage of arms or armour and could equip every soldier with a pretty uniform outfit.
I think this is probably the most obvious case where the show will have given people a concrete image of what the Night's Watch should look like (rag-tag array of general scum). I do think they look a bit too professional and uniform, but I just generally assume you guys are all ready considering these complaints before they're made![]()

House Targaryen
If we chose to make them playable in the campaign, will there be any representation of the wildlings? Also, wouldn't the Starks be like to attack them?
"I doubt you can understand the magnitude of the stupidity in your statement."
Yes and no, there will be Wildings first off, and then there will be a script that prevents its allies from attacking them, if you so choose.
House Targaryen
Ghost should be bouncing around at Jon's feet, biting open throats and chewing of arms, and i hope to a faction beyond the wall and to have Torumnd Giantsbane as a hero, he is the BEST!
if i may express an objection...(two actually)
1.....i think you should lose the ninja masks...they give em a very "third age" rangers vibe ,since they're also hooded....maybe you could make em look more like scarfs (scarves?) wrapped around their necks and covering half their faces..
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
2.....as also the "headband with nose protectors-helms" that have an elvish feel ...
maybe give em "full -but still- open faced-helms" OR a "chainmail hood"
other than these,i think it's all really beautiful..ah ,maybe a last thing...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
ps...
...make em playable in campaign ONLY by finishing the game first with another faction...![]()

First issue: They are wearing scarves, no masks. I mean, look at the night watch swordsmen.
Second Issue: I think those are actually leather helmets with iron noseguards if i`m not entirely mistaken- Their hair color matches the color of the helmet though, so..
Spoilered Issue: They won`t really be stronger than normal soldiers, but will be fewer in numbers. Both rangers and recruits will have realistic amounts of moral and hiding anywhere isn`t very apt for the Rangers since they only operate in the forzen wasteland of the far north.
Give me cavalry and I can make anything happen.![]()
House Targaryen
My guess was wrong as usual..... stick around for next weeks wildly inaccurate prediction.
A thought occurs, for a faction to exist it must have enemies so, the team must create wildlings, another mystery unravalled by my rapier wit!!!!!!!
And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low? Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know. In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws, And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
Read the FAQ you fool.![]()

This mod just gets keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the release!
I want to put my vote behind making them an unlockable faction, along with the inevitable wildlings faction. The wall should be a bit more imposing too. As with the numbers they need to be balanced with the other factions, that is what's more important to me than weather or not there are only a few hundred of them.
This was a major unexected surprise though, bravo.
wow is it bad that the nighst watch looks the most badass? where does all the +rep go? after seeing this who doesnt wanna repel hordes of wildlings???Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I could forsee alot of awesome ideas/scripts now that we know they are a faction.

Thanks for the suggestions.
As LordInquisitor the amount will be changed (I think in testing phase). Some work will be done and posted in the future to complete this faction, in the case we realize somthing is missing.
Considering your feeback, of course.![]()
Really cool :-). And I have a one suggestion. In first Sam's chapter it is said men from the Shadow Tower were big, bearded and armed with longaxes and eight-foot spears. If you would like to have more various units. And what about Mormont and the Halfhand?
