    Default Fallout: Total War

    In the past I have joined and started many mods but they didn't take off so there was only one choice. Abandon them. But this one was inspired by this thread here and this one has been getting alot of support and a few people, including me wish to make it happen so I present to you:





    This project is based on Bethesda's Fallout series, it's still heavily WIP but you can expect updates soon. And if you wish to join go ahead!

    We currently need skilled 3d artists, 2d artists, and researchers.



    - A new campaign map that covers most of North America
    - 20 new factions with new units
    - New environments to match the post-apocalyptic world
    - New ui, music, and much more!





    Mapping - 10%
    Modeling - 0%
    Skinning -0%
    2d Art - 0%
    Text-editing/Scripting - 2%
    Sounds/Music - 0%




    The Medieval II engine offers many benefits the Empire engine doesn't. Variance in units, Close combat with swords, shields and other weapons as well as ranged ones. There are also some restrictions in Empire that would hamper and or kill development, making MIITW the best option too create a feasible, visually appealing product for the TW community too enjoy.

    New Vegas would be better - Ghouls can be rebels, NCR, Legion, Mutants and etc.

    So far we have 20 factions. And that includes BoS, Enclave, Super Mutants (three separate factions), and NCR.

    Really? You look more like the ten year old kid with atrocious grammar. Besides, he stated that it wasn't his idea but someone else's who started the topic. Please do think before you put down new mods, the least you can do is lend some support, not drain away energy and passion for it.

    Maybe this will even lead to innovations in getting proper automatic weapons or even laser and plasma weapons in the game, but if you just cast it away as "a 10 kid idea" then nothing will be happen. No breakthroughs of any sort.

    I have seen automatic weapons on the Medieval II engine. And I know nothing about the modding of units but there must be some way to change what they shoot so it looks like plasma or even lasers. And I have seen units that can shoot just like artillery right out of their own hands and that should cover explosive weapons.

    And on another note, should there be a Papal States faction? And what should it be?

    No, I don't think there should. The wasteland was a lawless place, the factions were all splintered and divided. Even the Brotherhood factions' relations with each other were strained.
    The only "Papal Faction" I could possibly think of is the Regulators from FO3 or the Followers of the Apocalypse from FO:NV, but both were minor factions and the major factions didn't really care about what they said.

    I'm flattered, thank you. I'll join the team, if I may.
    I also hope to contribute models but let's see if studying won't take up too much of my time.
    (Only a week left. I also tried to access total war center yesterday to check back on the topic but my browser wasn't able to enter the site for some strange reason.)
