    in the submissions ppl piks are big how do i get mine like that???

    Instead of using one of the first few links imageshack gives you, look for the direct link then add
    [IMG] on the front of the link and [/IMG] on the back.

    use the jpeg format to have larger pics while still staying under the 1MB restriction. Formats like .png are better quality, but have HUGE file sizes

    Either your pic is already big like that or you can use your editing software to change the image size.
    Does that really make the pics bigger, Lusted?

    i dont get how people submit large images of very fine quality. As if they did it in 24 bitmap format. Those files will be huge in size yet they find a image host that will take it?

    nope i use photobucket and imageshack, imageshack = 1024k and photobucket = 512k (unless you purchase a premium account and who does that?)

    i save mine as 72 dpi 640x480 when i upload to image shack i chose the 640x480 for message boards option and pic the top url i'm not sure how you save the slightly bigger image

    when you use imageshack, the first few links it gives you allows you to post thumbnails of the pic on forums, town watch was asking to post the pic at its original size, and for that you need the direct link, then you wrap img tags around it.
