Oh... The woes of RL.
I am sure everyone goes through it. Well, here you can banter, and bash it to your heart's content.


But let's make it interesting. Anyone posts any artistic writing or poem or just witty and humorous remarks, we all rep them.

I'll start the first round.
A small rhyme, which I think I saw on television, but adapted.

Oh... What a life,
M falls in Love,
Life kicks M in the balls,
Roll credits,
Oh... What a life.

Three Annoying Haiku


My hero is the

Are you a New Yorker? I lived there for years. In the Bronx for a couple of years in the late 90's and I was a squatter on the LES back in 88-89.

I was born and live in industrial Brooklyn and my high school was in the Bronx. I am attending university in the fall.

Originally Mott Haven, a few blocks from Yankee Stadium, later moved north to Fordham near the VA hospital.

Colossal waste of money, building the new stadium. It's literally across the street from the old one.

Agreed about the stadium, although I never went after they opened it. As a dedicated bleacher creature I was very angry the way they jacked up the prices there. I am also, in general terms, very much an opponent of any kind of public money going to insanely rich (and greedy) pro sports franchises for building stadiums.

They don't need it, they price gouge the locals after taking their tax money, and it's just another example of rich people, who are always always going on about how welfare is destroying the country, turning around and putting their fat, greasy hands out for the same.

Do you remember how damn crowded the trains were with them after a game? No regard for personal space or even basic subway etiquette. Talked loud as well.

Yes, but I have always decided that those people were out of towners. lol

For my part I would avoid the trains in that part of town like the plague after games. If I went myself I'd go hang out in a bar for an hour or two before I'd try to go anyplace.

I would get out of school about half an hour before the game ended so by the time the train got to the Stadium they were ready to invade.

I'll admit, it was pretty cool watching them tear down the stadium and build a new one. I passed the area twice a day so I pretty much saw the entire construction. One thing I would like to see is a few of those out of towners going further than 167th St. :
